It would be perfect if not for the Keyboard
I thought I would hate the touch bar - but for playing media and other common uses of Apple Apps - its actually quite handy. Performance is amazing - however i am not really in love with the keyboard - I am used to hitting the keys harder and when I do they make a clacking sound with little tactile feedback. Great product, good price, OK battery
I really like this laptop, it is what I needed: an ultra-portable computer with extremely nice built quality, light and presentable in meetings. However, right off the bat I realized the battery is not as good as Apple advertises it, and I don't even do CPU intense tasks... just web browsing, emails, documents editing, simple accounting, etc. So for these tasks I expect it to take me through a work day away from charger. Great little computer - happy I went with the 13 over the 15
Im really pleased with my new 13 MBP with Touch Bar, i7 and 16GB of ram. I would have preferred a fan-less computer, but no macs with this kind of power are available without fans. Best 13.3 MBP, superb deal if priced lower
I got the maxed out 13.3 MBP Mid 2018. At this price point I could have gotten already an MBP 15 but the size was too much for me as well as the specs for my daily usage. Overall everything was what I expected from a macbook laptop as well as the price Im paying for it. If it was priced a little bit lower then I would have given it 5 stars with everything that I wanted and fits my budget, usage etc. Otherwise, its basically another MBP that I know would last / serve me well for the years to come hopefully my next upgrade will be 6-8 years from this purchase of a currently maxed out 13.3 MBP.

Everything I hoped it would be; a pleasant surprise.
Long-time Apple user who has been turned off by the lack of upgradability of their new computers. Even so, it was time to upgrade my 2012 MacBookAir, so I opted for this with a little trepidation. So far, my fears have been unfounded. The computer is very fast, and I have actually found the low-travel keyboard keys easier to type on than the classic models. I have also found the Touch Bar to be an improvement over function keys, which I rarely used. As more applications integrate the Touch Bar, it should even become more functional. As expected, screen resolution is excellent.

Better than my last Macbook Pro
I really like this Macbook pro, it replaced my 2011 version. The only con that I have found is that the escape button is on the touchbar, on the left, and at first I was constantly bumping it. Which caused me to lose a few paper I was working on for college. But I have learned to save as I go to avoid such tragic loses. And I bought an app that helps to avoid this problem. Other than that this laptop runs much cooler than the last one, is lighter and everything looks . much better. I dont have anything to complain about. It was an improvement of my 2011, but it should be.

Small things I dislike
This is my 3rd MacBook Pro so there is no question of me purchasing a PC laptop... but there are some small petty changes that I have come to find annoying. The track pad, yes it is larger, but there is no spacing between the track pad and the space bar... so as a marginally typist, it can be tricky. The keyboard, the keys are larger, but the clicking sound they make is VERY annoying!! Again these are small things and would not have prevented my purchase, but you should know you may need to make some adjustments to how you use the keyboard and/or track pad.

A pleasant surprise!
The laptop is very good. It is on the pricier side but the look and feel will leave you wanting for more. No seriously, I just love holding and using this laptop. For an average person, this laptop is perfect. Not everyone needs to edit photos,videos, draw 3D models, or do programming. Dont get me wrong here, this laptop can do all that just not as well as other more expensive laptops out there. Go ahead and buy it, youll be satisfied with it. BnH is amazing too, you get to buy a mac at lower prices and pay no taxes. Thats almost saving like 250 dollars!

What a pleasure
Ok - Ive been using windows computers for years and put up with all the problems associated with them. I finally had enough and decided to break down and get an Apple MacBook Pro. What a difference! Turns on instantly, everything from my Apple account loaded within minutes. Play final draft screenplay program works flawlessly. It notifies me when I am emails and text messages on my iPhone. I havent had one hangup with it like I used to all the times with HP or Dell computers. I guess you get what you pay for. Never going back to windows again

Too expensive for what it is
This is my first Macbook pro. I have always been a Windows user. This is a good machine, but honesty I was expecting something better. The macbook overheats sometimes, performance I would say is normal, nothing outstanding, even loading SO is lower than windows.. At the end, I dont see features or attributes that justify paying the amount a macbook pro cost vs other options.... there are really good windows base machines and the cost is lower... again I thing apple is charging because of the brand and not what really this machine offers

Powerful little beast
The 2018 MacBook Pro is a little great beast with smart design, functions and great power. The only reason I granted 4 stars instead of 5 is that you will need to purchase 3 or more cables needed to connect the USB C inputs/outputs with VGA equipped projector, micro USB smartphone or USB A USB keys. B&H reliably packed and arranged the delivery of the packages as always :)) Iy you spend a little fortune for the notebook it is advisable to protect it well so I purchased an inner and outer case for it sold by B&H as well... Light, fast and handy
Great machine! Light, fast and handy! Cons: 1) The mini-USBs require additional hub. You cannot really use the computer without it, because the computer has no other ports. Besides the fact that the hub is not cheap (~$100), it is becoming a part of your computer. The hub is attached loosely and does not really lock into the computer. Small shakes can disconnect the hub and you loose your external devices. Annoying! 2) The laptop is non-upgradeable. You have to stay with the configuration you initially purchased.

B & H MacBook Pro Laptop
I purchased a MacBook Pro 13.3 Laptop from B & H two weeks ago. The website was easy to use and I received my laptop the next day by FedEx delivery signature required. In addition to its factory packaging, it was securely packed in another cardboard (size appropriate) box and placed in a shipping box with bubble plastic. Works fine, but touchbar is annoying
Im generally happy with this MBP, it works slightly better than my 2012 (retina) MBP that was starting to show signs of aging and couldnt handle editing (2K) video. But it definitely does not have the improvements I would expect of a machine 6 years newer, and the one feature that I have come to abhor after months of use is the touch bar. It is constantly getting in the way and Im inserting emojis into the most inappropriate places. The lack of an escape key feels so.... just like something is missing.

New to MacBook - Not disappointed at all
I am new to MacBooks. I have never owned an Apple computer before and was always strictly PC, however, my daughter wanted a MacBook so I got her one. I fell in love with her MacBook and decided to get myself one (although this one is more robust than hers). I like the slimness of the Pro, I really like the touch bar feature, and I like how fast this machine moves. Overall, I would buy it again. Since its a whole new transition for me I really like that I learn something new everyday about it.

Like the old MacBook Pro but faster.
My new 2018 MacBook Pro does everything my old 2009 MBP did except faster. Im grateful for that. Almost everything from the old machine works as expected on the new machine. I was looking for a smooth transition, and I got it. The power bar is kind of interesting, but Im not really sure how useful it is. Fortunately, it allows me to use all the old function buttons, which are now virtual buttons on the power bar. Theres probably some other cool stuff, but I havent discovered it yet.

Great laptop, great price, fast shipping
Purchased the day after Christmas when the price was @ 1949 with free shipping. Great price and received it the next morning. Was replacing a 2018 MBP 15 2.6/512/16/560x that was overkill for what I was doing, and I prefer the 13 footprint. System is very zippy, does what I need it to. Battery lasts 7-8 hours. Love the smaller footprint and though its only a lb difference, it does feel better to carry around. B&H had the best price and the fast shipping was great!

So far so good
Did a lot of research on this and it fit my needs in terms of an suitable upgrade from an older MacBook Pro. Shipping was smooth (free 2 day and it arrived in 2 business days) and out of the box it has worked fine thus far. I was skeptical on the agressive price (B&H was lower than Apple- which was not surprising- and any other 3rd party authorized Apple reseller) but it is what it is (as advertised) so I cannot complain at all. Would recommend to a friend.

2018 MBP i5/ 16GB RAM/512 SSD
I had an early 2010 MBA. The upgrade to the PRO was worth it. The keyboard (3rd Gen) is silky smooth. One of the best keyboards that I ever used. I am a hunt and peck typer - so it really works well for me. The MBP has all the power and storage I could ever want/ need. When connected to a fast internet this computer flys. I recommend it highly and worth every penny. Based on the first month, I am certain this laptop is virtually future proof.

Good overall, new USB-C ports are annoying
So far, the laptop seems to be good quality in a small package. Its as compact as my old Macbook Air but with a lot more memory and power. However, the ports are all the new USB-C type ports so you basically need to buy adapters for all your existing gear. I initially bought Apples adapters but their USB-A ports didnt fit any of my equipment well, which always fit fine in my old MacBook Air. Id recommend buying another brand of adapter.

Despite some little issues with Apple itself...
It has been my dream for years to upgrade my early 2011 macbook pro, and finally I was able to do this this year. B&H was the only website that had the configuration model I was looking for (and that I could afford). Couldnt be happier. Except some minor problems with bugs (all iOS problems that you find solution on the internet), its all perfection. Im a photographer and filmmaker and i cant wait to use this baby to edit my stuff :)

As good as advertised!
I bought this MacBook to replace my mid 2011 MacBoo Pro that was still functioning very well but slowing down a bit with video and photo editing. This new MacBook is excellent and I love the touch bar functionality once I got used to it. The machine performs vey well and is much more compact despite having the same screen size as my old one. Much easier to transport. The screen resolution is excellent. I have no negatives to report!
