Apple 13.3 MacBook Pro (Mid 2017, Space Gray)
New MacBook Pro
My last MacBook is almost 10 years old (it still works) but I couldnt do further upgrades on the OS. This new Mac is awesome and is about 4 times faster in doing more intensive video projects. Apple still makes great computers and I will still be a fan.

Major upgrade from early 2011!!
First impression after upgrading my wifes early 2011 13 MBP to 2017 is that is has lost some serious weight. Its like carrying an 8.5X11 writing pad. Keyboard feels very different. Not as refined of a feel as previous ones, but once you get used to the shorter travel, it feels good. The retina screen compared to an old MBP is light years better. The HD speed is phenomenal!!! Typical Mac product
Another quality product from Apple... Not worth the retail price... but $200 off? Definitely. Also, I really dont understand the big fuss over the updated keyboard that so many seem to hate. I bought this (Mid 2017 version) for my wife, I have an early 2015 MBP with old style keyboard, neither of us find the updated style a problem, just takes a little getting used to.

Nice light laptop to replace my late 2010 MacBook Air
I like everything about it except the noisy and clunky keyboard which is really inferior to my old MB Airs. Having bought it in late November, B&H had what I wanted at a very good price.

Battery problems
The battery got a severe issue and cannot charge anymore. It makes a very bad experience, no more again! And I dont know how to fix it.

Trackpad is going to drive you nuts
The overall value of this Macbook is on par with other Apple products in terms of reliability, programs, etc. However, if you plan on using it like a regular laptop, ie typing while parts of your hand are positioned over the trackpad, get ready for some serious frustration as the slightest touch causes the cursor to jump around the page. Held Hostage
The new thunderbolt connection only is a control move. Had to buy connector with USB ,micro card slot ,ethernet, etc. just so my daughter could use it at college fall of 2018. Then one month in at college the screen goes out. Apple was great to fix it within one week. Then I find out two of her friends had problems with there new Mac books one had to make 4 trips to apple repair before they gave him a new mac which stoped working a week later. I will go with Lenovo from now on.

Perfect for my needs

Man, this thing is sleek. My 2015 Macbook pro at work look so outdated now. Installed iOS Mojave as soon as I got it. Very happy with it and no issues so far.

Screen Malfunction Month after warranty ends
I really love the computer and mac OS. However, One month outside of warranty and the screen is malfunctioning already, no damage to machine. This machine already had the battery replaced inside the warranty period. This is very disturbing as I love apple and I am heavy in the ecosystem. Really don't know what to do as replacing the screen is going to cost about half the price of the computer. If buying I recommend purchasing extended apple care. They don't make them like they used to, That's for sure.

Not satisfied
It freezes when I try to share my screen during a Skype call. Something wrong with a microfone. I was trying to record a video and a sound is very low, when I mad a Skype call my opponent couldn't hear me. I'm gonna bring it to the repair center. And I would exchange it if it's possible.

I love my Apple product, but...
I love my MacBook Pro. Like all my Apple products (iPad Mini 3 and 21" iMac), it's well built, looks attractive, and feels solid. I love the new Retina Display, with it's brightly lit graphics. Macbook pro 2017 2.3ghz i5 16gb 512gb
I bought it during back to school season. Im impressed b&h is even cheaper than apple with student discount and best buy. No tax also since i live in cali. The box came in well packaged. The macbook doesnt have any problems and its brand new. Would come back and buy it again.
