BEST ENTRY LEVEL ARRANGER VALUE
There are more than a few choices out there but for features, least learning curve, on-board speakers ,Yamaha dependability, AND price point, this is a winner. Plenty loud in the house/apt. You would need an amp or be able to run it through the board for rehearsal or live. It will work as is with an acoustic guitar/singer in a acoustic setting. The Groove and Style give you incentive. Like having your own little backing band. Plus never had any problems with Yamaha equipment.

The Best Deal...
I spent about 3 weeks looking for a good package... the biggest problem was finding the right keyboard with all the bells and whistles for the right price. Overall - a great value
This is overall, an excellent value. The sound quality is great - there are many excellent voices (8 sweet voices), and rhythms. Velocity sensitive keys provide nuance to playing - and there's a pitch-bend wheel, and most controls are easy to find. The keyboard itself is very transportable (light weight and 61 keys) .

Great sound from this little guy
Speakers are nice and big. I wasn't expecting the sound to be this good from a keyboard of this price range, so it was a nice surprise. Within a few minutes, I was able to figure out many features, as they are pretty intuitive and accessible. Can't wait to explore more.
