OSS & Compact
I went with the Sony 35MM F1.8 due to it having OSS and being smaller in size than the similar Sigma lens. AF including eye AF works great with this lens. AF motor is quiet. Great lens to add to your kit.

Great Lens - too expensive
I know that many people who own this lens seem to get issues with color fringing, etc but in my experience this is often over-stated. The lens itself is extremely well made, has decent sharpness (you can get better, but it is still very good) and has very little in the way of chromatic aberrations, distortion, etc - especially once you get to an aperture of f2.8 or higher. Excellent lens for Sony APS-C Line
I upgraded to this lens from the Sigma 30mm f2.8 DN lens. While the Sigma was great, I was looking for a faster lens with higher build quality and image stabilization. This lens was a big step up. Crisp details, vivid colors, great in lowlight, compact size
This is my first Prime lens, it took a little while to get used to it but once you do you will be rewarded. This lens works really well in low light situation, it does a terrific jobs at giving your subject a crisp outline, the Bokeh is very creamy and the colors are vivid. Because its a prime lens (no zoom) and is 35mm its best suited for shots which composition is the same as the eye would see. Its a bit pricey but the quality is noticeable and pleasing.

great potential lens
I just got my Sony E 35mm lens few weeks back. This is my first non-kit lens since purchasing the a6000. I have not fully used this guy just a few test shots but so far so good, rather awesome. Can't wait until I can take advantage of this lens' potential. Also adjusting that I can't zoom in/out with this lens.

Outstanding

So far good but tight
Got it as a low light indoor event lens on my a6500. Would also like a 16mm f/1.8 but do not see one I could use with auto focus. I am using the Sony f/4 16-70 which is great but need something faster. I am giving it 4 stars because It is very tight to mount. Not sure if this is a defect or normal plus I have not used it except around the house. After the indoor event next week I will have a better chance to evaluate it.

Must buy
I bought this lens exclusively forgimbal/autofocus work on my a6500. Trust me when I say it's a must buy. When the sun is out, this thing is extremely sharp and keeps focus incredibly at 1.8 If you were on the fence, get off of it and buy this lens asap. You wont be sorry!

Money well spendt
It is tiny, it weights nothing. My AR7ii actually looks like a mirrorless camera with this lens on. But this tinny thing is a FANTASTIC lens. I enjoy using it. It is so sharp!

Amazing lens!
I've only had a week to play with the lens but so far I'm extremely happy with how it performs. The images are much sharper than the kit zoom and the colors look great! Love how small the lens is, only a tiny bit longer than the kit zoom. Super excited to continue using this guy to get some more great pics!

Awesome lens
One of the best lenses for A6*00 series. Most of the reviewers for A6*00 suggested this and I would agree with this lens. Rather than getting the kit-lenses package for my A6300, I used this as a started lens for my body and I could not be happier. $50 off beginning Thanksgiving week along with B&H quick service and no-tax made it an awesome deal.

Great lens.
I love this lens! I use it mostly for mountain biking because its small and fits easily in my backpack. it takes great pictures. They are sharp. My only complaint is that it has a plastic feel and feels cheap, even though the build quality is great. Over all its a great beginner to intermediate lens.

Great all-around lens that never leaves my a6300!

Very nice upgrade to the kit zoom lens for a Sony a6000
Bought this lens on a recent trip to NY from London. B&H is a real gem and one of the few places you can actually speak with staff who know their stuff and try different options. Ended up deciding on the 35mm lens which is the right balance of size, price and versatility. It is sharp, quick to focus and the pictures are a step up from the kit lens. Works great for portrait and general photography, although I sometimes wished it would be wider angle. I suspect this is a bigger step up than spending the same amount to upgrade for the latest Sony alpha camera.

This lens produces beautiful images with bokeh effect when used at F1.8 stop. A bit expensive for a fixed lens but it has OOS and fast autofocus.

Great lens!
I haven't had a chance to compare the quality of pictures that it takes but the performance was great. It is very fast which allows good pictures in low light and very fast focusing. It is great quality and compact in size.

Fantastic Lens
Bought this lens to challenge myself in regards to framing/composition/etc. and I could not be more pleased. The lens is fast and works great in low light, plus it gives you a lot to play with in regards to depth of field. Overall I think this is a great addition to my kit.

Excellent lens
It is a solid lens working as expected good value for the price. Is my first prime lens and zooming with my legs is something new and especially in city pictures where obvious a wide angle lens makes more sense. Excellent pictures for people and nigh street with the fast lens , and OSS. Not my day by day lens but I enjoy it's results when I use it in appropriate application. Overall I'm happy with it.
