Second Sony RX100
This is the second Sony Rx100this time the VI with its super new zoom lens. This is my grab.and-go camera for wind and dust, possible rain, and when I am taking record shots that dont the high resolution of my Nikon z7 camera. Highly recommend this little whiz of a camera. Have actually made 10x15 prints that come out sharp and clear. Its far more than a pocket, point-and-shoot camera.

Great camera, VERY compact. TOO compact?
Feature wise it's an incredible camera, and I am going to keep it. My only gripe is that it's so small, that it's easy to hit buttons you didn't intend on hitting (like video record) and you have to be careful you are hitting the button you intend. If you have large hands, I'd probably skip this camera.

Compact and highly functional
Great little camera to carry when a DSLR is inconvenient. I like its wide to tele range and sharp pictures. One flaw is its complicated menu structure. There is no manual, only a difficult to navigate online guide to each instruction. Pleas SONY give me an Owners Manual! Otherwise would be 5 stars.

Great, and...
I dont actually have this model. I have a generation 3. In that model great image quality under ISO 400. Huge array of features. I understand the menus have improved so that is a plus. I bought the RX100iii because it had an eye-level viewfinder. It has stopped working on mine. Just saying

Much better than phone, still fits in pocket
I was looking for a camera that was simple enough for my or my father to use to take good pictures, and would still fit in my pocket. I've been very happy with it so far. Just got a chance to film cousin at figure skating and the video was great. Very smooth even when zoomed in.

Sony Rules
Everything shoots super fast: fast focus and frame rate. Completely silent shooting, superb AF system finds and tracks motion and faces, selectable aspect ratios work flawlessly with electronic finders, JPG and or RAW, 25 contrast - detection points. Its a fun little camera.

Excellent compact camera
Fits in pocket has amazing video and great photos . can charge by USB . carry extra batteries for more than regular use. Flip screen that you can use to take selfies and many modes and filters to help you take better photos and videos. Great qauilty for a very light camera

A better case
I would have added this to my previous review where I commented on the excessive size of the case included with this kit, but I can't edit it. I've found a case that fits like a glove!: The Lowepro Adventura CS 10. This is a soft case, but fits the RX1006 perfectly.

Cannot process in Lightroom or Photoshop
For all the hype and all the cost the RAW files cannot be processed in Lightroom or Photoshop. No update nor does the Adobe conversion program adopt the file. I have been stuck with a Sony processing program that is just ok. If this changes I may increase my rating.

Camera is great, but case included in kit is WAY TOO LARGE
The RX100M6 is great, but don't buy this kit because the case is too large. It is about the right thickness but 1-1/4" too long and 1/2" too wide (which is a lot for such a small camera), so it is unnecessarily bulky and the camera slides around in it too much.

Best carry camera
Excellent quality, great chip - as long as there's enough light. Controls are limited, but due to the size of the camera it's understandable. Overall, I can now carry around a decent quality camera. Make it a full-sized chip and I'll make it 5 stars. Or more.

Can't use RAW files yet
I had and sold the RX100 mark 5. I like the mark 6 and the slower lens seems a reasonable tradeoff for the 200mm zoom. One caution if you use RAW files and expect to process with Lightroom. You can't. LR does not yet work with these files. Hopefully soon???

Perfect Camera for Travel
I have used Canon travel cameras for years. Gx7 and Gx3 with viewfinder. This Sony is more convenient to carry and has a sharper lens. Menus take a bit of effort, but worth it. The included charger and sD card are excellent. The camera case, less so.

Great zoom with a trade-off.
There's not much to say than the camera is great. The only two shortcomings are: 1. No more ND filters. 2. At 24mm the image distortion is very obvious. Both issues that were nonexistent in the previous generation. But definitely a solid buy.

Good except small battery capacity
I like most things about this camera: great image quality, long zoom, selfie mode, touch screen, evf, etc. However the battery lasts about only 200-240 shots. If you need to use it for a travel camera, do get extra battery and chargers.

Just love the upgrades on the RX100 VI
I am very happy with my choice to upgrade from the RX100V to the RX100VI. The new RX100VI menus have been expanded and I am loving the focus peaking which I have on my Sony A7RM3. The improvements from the V to VI are worth the extra money.

Simple outstanding camera
With the exception of the about 1 f stop difference in low light levels capability all other features and actual performance are all superb! Much improvement in the type V version. Outstanding pocket travel camera worth the price, to me!

Less is more... Best DSC-RX100 yet
Great camera in a small package... what you may lose slightly in low light, you make up for in crystal clear telephoto capability. It will not replace my A9, but its the next best thing when you need to travel light. Less

Great Picture results plus numerous new bells & whictles
Takes great pictures and video. Period. Then, there arr the exceptional extras...send to internet, special effects, and so much more! It'll take till version VII arrives to learn all that the VI camera can do.

Notable improvements over IV
I am happy to have bought the VI. There is a noticeable upgrade in autofocus and above all, the telephoto performance. So far I don't miss the faster 1.8 aperture. Really worthwhile upgrade for me!

Best Travel Camera ever!
Excellent photos, focus and tracking, and 24 frames per second for stopping the action. A little pricy. However, no one else makes anything like this for any amount of money. I highly recommend.

Simply perfect!
The build quality of this camera is impressive. Very nice image quality and functions. I miss something that allows me to grab it better. I think it's probably the best camera in its class.

Same as V and more
I have an RX 100 V and love it because of its size and quality of picture. The VI has the same virtues plus a 200!mm lens. Based on limited testing I think I'll also love the VI.

Very Capable Pocket Camera
I have had several RX line cameras. All have been excellent. I am an amateur photographer. These cameras drive me to specialize all my efforts using only compact cameras.
