Completely Enamored w/this camera
For a college student who has saved & waited over 2 years, dabbling with the a6000 and a6500 but could not really afford them, this camera has taken the best pictures and videos out of all of them and from my friends who are Nikon and Canon shooters. Everyone keeps asking which camera I use to take my photos and the detail in the video is unmatched in the mid-range mirrorless camera space. Battery life is amazing with the bigger battery and the Sony ecosystem is one that I plan to stick with for the foreseeable future

Perfect Size, perfect camera
After reading reviews, articles, more reviews, and opinion pieces about this camera I finally snagged a used like new for myself complete with the Lens I had wanted. This is my first mirrorless camera and a BIG upgrade from my 13 year old Canon Rebel EOS T1i and Nikon D50....So big Im a little scared to take it out of the house. My own hang ups about expensive gear aside I love this camera. The reviews are not wrong about what it can do so if you... Show More

Untouchable after 3.0 Update
The A7III really is the best all-around camera a person can buy today, and for years to come. Ive owned it for five months now and Ive used it nearly every day with the Sony 2.8 2470 GM. Many of the photos Ive taken have been for digital publications and print - some making it on the covers of magazines. Ive come back after all this time to write this review because with this 3.0 update that introduced Real-time Eye AF - words simply cannot descr... Show More

So good, I bought a second one
Ive been with Sony since the a6000 and their cameras always leave me satisfied no matter what. With that being said, after purchasing my first a7III, I quickly purchased a second one! The battery life, the grip, the image quality, no crop in 120/60 1080 Or in 4K 24 -- one of them overheated once, but it never shut off on me. Another reason why Im glad I own 2, just in case.

AF not as good in low light as Nikon D750
This camera has a lot of little quirks. The biggest drawback is that the autofocus is not as good in low light as on the current generation of DSLRs, e.g. the Nikon D750. As an available light photographer, I have missed a number of important shots because of this. You can work around the AF issue by shooting with primes, but that makes your kit much heavier and much more expensive than a typical photojournalists kit with the trusty 2.8 zooms.

A7 MARK III DIGITAL CAM w/28-70 KIT
Great camera. Upgraded from a Sony a6000. This is my first full frame camera and I am so pleased with what its given me the ability to do. I purchased with the kit lens. Okay lens if you dont have any other full frame lenses but I recommend upgrading when you can. The glass makes the camera. Overall 10/10

Love this camera
I upgraded from the Sony A6000 about 6 months ago. I love this camera. I have the FE 100-400 with the teleconverter, the kit lenses that came with it , Sony Vario-Tessar 16-35mm wide angle, the FE 70-300mm and the Sigma Macro Lens. Every lens I shoot with the results are amazing. Beautiful bokeh and image clearness right through to the edges. I am an avid amateur but this camera is helping me push my boundaries. In body stabilization
I have two of these. the sensor stabilization is garbage. The sensor wabbles like crazy or micro jitters. Footage is unusable. I had not issues with my A7sIII or a6500

So Far, So Good.
Purchased my first Sony camera and so far, no complaints. The camera itself seems pretty rock solid, and the battery life is nice as well. I am upgrading from the Canon t5i w/ kits lens, so this is a huge upgrade for me. I also purchased the Tamron 28-75, f.28 and its turning out to be a very solid lens choice. Waiting now for the Tamron 17-35, f2.8 to come out and Ill snag that up and be set for a bit. As for B&H, no hassle at all, super quick and everything came as it should. Two thumbs up!

Great Camera!
I love it. I moved from a Canon 80D to the Sony. The SonyA73 isnt perfect, but I really enjoy the Live View. Do some homework, watch a couple of videos to make sure its the camera for you.

Photos and Film on easy mode!
This is a breathtaking piece of kit. Astounding lowlight performance. Ultimate flexibility and customizable features. All day battery life. Superb image quality, AND...cheaper than most in its class. Sony really outdid themselves with this one. Couldnt recommend it enough. My order also arrived on time and in perfect condition. Love the folks at B&H.

Stunning results
I am an amateur. Educated but still amateur. I began in the world of Ikoflex and Voigtlander (couldnt afford Rolleiflex and Leica). Transitioned to digital in the first Canon era and recently went Sony via both a 6500 and now the a7 III. I have discovered heaven. Instant focusing that ended my myopic focusing problems. Plenty of pixels for my penchant for low light photography. I can capture images I cannot se with my naked eye. More flexibility than I can use. Thus far there is nothing not to like. 6500 with a short lens in my packet, A7 III in my hand. What more can a person ask?

Great camera
Love the clarity in the photos with this camera. Ive been using a Sony a6500 which I really like but I have to say switching to the larger format is great. Ive been using 100-400GM lens with the a6500 which gave it that extra reach being that it is the smaller formate but even with the actual lens strength you can crop in and get amazing results. The only thing I wish would be better is the detail in the view finder. Doesnt always look that sharp... Show More

Had it/Liked It/Returned It-Upshot: B&H is a great company!
So I bought my Canon 70D from B&H in 2014, brand new and still have it... I had as many as 11 lenses at one point, mostly Canon primes and zooms, also the old Tamron 70-200 2.8 VC-That thing and all 70-200 2.8 lenses are BRICKS... So I bought the A7III, looking to upgrade to full frame and not happy with Canons offerings... The Sony takes great pics, but it just doesnt feel or handle like a Canon...And 2 card slots, for me, is more of a pain than... Show More

Overheating
Great camera, love the features, but not reliable enough to use in a professional enviroment. It overheats even when indoors. I was shooting a basketball game INSIDE an air conditioned stadium and got overheating issues less than an hour in the game.

Does not dissapoint
I have been a Pentax user since the 70s (still have my original K1000), so investing in Sony was a big leap for me. Ive been playing with the camera for a couple of weeks now and so far, Ive been very pleased. I find the ability to customize the external controls to be easy and a huge bonus.

Still the best camera out there!
The camera is great. Theres a wide variety of lenses and more to come soon. Battery life is great (Im yet to use a full battery even doing multiple shoots in a day). Is really comfortable on the hands and quite light. Having two card slots its a big plus. Image quality is definitely top of the line. Its a most for hybrid shooters.

Faulty hotshoe
Purchased to go along with my A9, mostly for second camera running video. Went to use it with my profoto B1s and found out the hotshoe is not working and gives me the dreaded accessory not compatible error. Wish I would have had the Profoto TTL-S remote to test it within my 30 day purchase. Now im stuck with it. I also get terrible banding shooting towards sun light...so if your a creative type, be forewarned about these issues...not professional grade at all.
