Love my Fun camera
Love my new camera! My mother is a B&H photo fan and helped me pick out my camera. I didnt want a big camera and wanted a nice starter camera. Its an awesome size camera, not to big and not too small,. Everyone who has looked at it thought it was such a perfect size! I have so many photos to take! What a fun camera!

Great at this price!
I do professional videography but I started out years ago shooting on a Pentax K1000 film camera. I bought the a6000 primarily for shooting video with a large sensor camera. This camera is fantastic. At around $500 there is nothing that comes close in features and it has a aps C sensor which is found in 90% of all dslr and mirrorless cameras. Everything ok Except Battery
Arrived ok every thing checked out except spare battery. Started charging then died within 10 minutes. Now it will not charge.

For a starting camera it's amazing!

Like the a7r but lighter
Like the a7r but lighter and more portable. All the same UI features plus a few. I added a thumb grip lever and an L bracket and find it fits nicely in my small hand. The kit 55-210 lens performs just fine for birding. Catches butterflies and dragonflies quite well too. I'm happy with my little portable powerhouse aps-c.

IM IN LOVE!!!
This camera is amazing!! Im no professional but my pictures look it! We recently took a trip to the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas and this camera took fantastic pictures!!! I cant say enough about it!!

Camera is great BUT!
The camera kept overheating. Found out after I sent it to SONY that it was because of the supplied CB-FW50 PAWA aftermarket battery they send with it messes with the camera and causes it to overheat. Also the SD card that ships with the camera will not work with the camera if you are shooting in XAVC S mode. Oh and it DOE'S NOT HAVE A MIC INPUT!

First serious camera
I'm new to the use of what I consider a serious camera and I wanted something more than a cell phone to take pictures of our grandkids. Great everyday gear
at first, I did not like the sony camera too much, but over time I discovered the comfort and convenience to use it and even changing the objectives goes easy now. photo transfer to mobile is quite easy and works well.

Very light and easy to carry on trips.
I carry camera and lenses in a shoulder bag when traveling in the country and find it very easy to pull out and use when needed. Picture quality is excellent!

Love it!
Have really been enjoying the a6000 as I use it primarily for pet photography! The kit is perfect as a starter camera for someone looking to learn. It's incredibly helpful to get all the components, especially the memory card, extra battery, and charger. I highly recommend this package for anyone looking to upgrade or switch cameras!

Horrible battery life
I owned the camera for over a year, build quality good, image quality, very good............. but the battery life is horrible, the camera drains the battery even is in off position, and I dont know why, I've tried several advices and configurations posted in youtube but nothing seems to work, the only way to keep the charge on the battery is taking it off the camera when I'm not going to use it, wich is very ridiculous

This is the second camera, first one shutter broke after 2 y

Just Right For Me
I've been researching for months for my first interchangeable lens camera and I know I made the right choice. I purchased with the Sigma 16mm 1.8 and Sony 35 1.4 lenses, and the results are excellent. Camera is easy to use feels good in the hands.

Love this little camera!
This is my second A6000. Bought one about four years ago and added a second one. Small and very light weight, but it has the features of a very sophisticated SLR. The lens options, which were somewhat limited when I bought the first one, have gotten much better over the years. This is a great camera for hiking, traveling and day trips. It takes excellent photos.

Wow just wow!
This is such an amazing camera! Truly outstanding photo quality, lots of useful features, lightweight & very easy to carry. The 16-50mm lens I need more practice with but so far Im not near as happy with it has the 55-210 lens its what gives this review the fifth star. If your wanting to upgrade your camera or get into photography/videography this is the way to go!

Amazing photo quality
Bought this for my son who just graduated from college. He wanted something smaller than a SLR but still wanted low light capability and to be able to use a variety of lenses. We went to a nature preserve and spent a few hours testing it out and the detail in the pictures is amazing even when enlarged quite a bit. Very good investment
I wanted to have a good camera to make some photos when I am traveling and this was a very good purchase. The quality of the photos its very good, the only think that you need to do, its to watch some tutorials on youtube on how to set up the camera depending on what type of photo do you want to make. I had to choose between Best Buy and B&H, the price of the camera was the same but the difference was that B & H was offering the accessory kit and also a better price for the extra coverage warranty for drops and spills.
