This SSD is compact and fits great in the Tilta cage. You will need a tilta or blue bird USB-C cable if you are connected to the camera for data and powering the SSD. The cable that comes with the drive only work when moving data to and from your computer.

SOLID STATE DRIVES ARE THE WAY TO GO
Done are the days of storage drives with mechanical, loud moving parts. Solid State Drive technology is the way to go. They are much, much faster, very portable and completely silent. Thank you B & H!!!!! I love my Samsung SSD T5!!!! Will be getting more!

Must-have for 4K Pocket Owners
This drive connects to 4K and 6K pocket cameras, allowing you to capture long-form events and presentations when CFast cards wont work. You can even use them as attached storage to edit from and they are similar speeds to my other gtech SSD ev drives.

Works Great on BM P4K
Small and light. Been using with the BlackMagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K with no issues with the drive itself. The camera sometimes has a problem seeing the drive but is an issue with the camera that Im sure will be addressed by a firmware update soon,

Tiny Trooper
I was surprised by how tiny this external SSD Drive is but then I loaded it up with Spectrasonics and Native Instruments samples and gave it a test run. Blazing fast speed, no issues whatsoever. Far better than my 7200 rpm drive. A great value so far.

Perfect Accessory for BMPCC 4K
Bought this to finally upgrade from using SD cards. Have had it for about a week now, and took it on several shoots already, one lasting 6 hours, and no hiccups. Haven't experienced any issues with dropped frames, or corrupted files. Would buy again!

Great drive !
Very happy with this. It's small, light and very fast. I needed a fast drive for my audio/video apps and this drive does the job. So far no issues. Mac OS10.12.6. It's still expensive and I hope prices will drop and I'll buy a couple of 2TB drives.

Lightweight storage
Recently moved and had to downgrade our internet connection speed such that cloud backup and storage was impossible. Am now using a couple of these as backup discs for our Macs - fast data transfer and lightweight. Keep one at home and one offsite.

Easy Setup And Fast Speed
Tried this drive for use in audio and video as a scratch disk. Allows me to access audio and plugins very quickly. Only downside is that it seems to overheat, especially after I transferred most of my files to it. Other than that, so far so good.

Excellent!
I just wish they made these with 4 - 6 or more TBs. I use this to video edit smaller projects before backing them up on the BLACKBX PRO/10TB/7200/USB2/3 USB-C 3.1. I love that I can take it anywhere and use with my laptop when visiting clients.

Nice product
This my third T5 SSD that I have purchased. I use them for small video projects in a high school setting with shared computers that I dont want left on the computer hard drives. They are handy and help keep things organized. So far so good.

fast & compact
I like everything except when I have it connected and auto backup selected my computer won't start unless I disconnect the power source for 10-15 seconds then reconnect. If i turn off the auto backup in Time Machine the computer starts OK

Great and tiny ssd
Amazingly tiny, also very fast. I get around 120MB/s speed even when copying hundreds of small files. Comes with two usb cables, A and C type, which is very convenient. I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to friend.

This solid state drive is a great storage device for storing photos. It has no moving parts and can be carried in my camera. The drive easily connects to my laptop computer for storage. I highly recommend this device for its portability.

Great pick for an external SSD
Picked this up to use as an externa boot drive on an older iMac. It performs extremely well. Cut my boot time in half! I also love the red color. Highly recommend if traveling as well. It is super small. Would fit in a pocket if needed.

Perfect External Drive
Needed a nice big external drive for a trip and am sick of the slow external HDD drives. Is quite expensive but is worth it if you need usable speeds for work. Bonus is it comes with 2 cables, C to C and A to C, which is quite handy.

A very compact 1TB ssd
I use this device to store large datasets for deep learning. It is was easy to set up, works seamlessly between Mac and Ubuntu (havent tried Windows, but should not be an issue). Its small, light, fast and replaces multiple USB drives.

Fast, Compact, Silent, and Portable.
The T5 is fast, small, and so far it's been rock solid reliable. It's amazing how fast these external SSDs have gotten. The USB 3.1 Type C helps in that regard, and it has the added benefit of the cable being small, and reversible.

Fast performer, super light, fits in a pocket

4k external goodness
I'm on a MBP and like most who are doing video, we need fast usable media storage without blocking up the main drive. I'm running FCPX and Resolve 15 with the media running live from the Samsung SSD. Works great. 4k 60fps. Done.
