APV-66 Necessary with Avaya Phones

Our office has the Avaya Phones system. I had purchased the Plantronics Voyager Legend CS headset. I was unable to make the headset work without the APV-66 which was needed for the headset to recognize that the phone was picked up for a call. It was an easy install on the Plantonics headset base, and the headphone are now working perfectly.
