A great surprise. Excellent Camera and value.
I had every intention of getting a new Full Frame for filmmaking and photography but couldn't justify getting the 5D MK IV at that price for its 4K. Its the creativity behind the camera. An expensive Camera won't guarantee excellent shots, its the person behind the lens. I said I would never get a Micro Four Thirds camera. I saw the price...could not resist. Decided to give it a try and I am now sold. This little brother to the GH4 is amazing. Though not cinema 4K, doesn't matter. Get it. Waiting to check out the GH5.

You simply can't beat the quality vs price with this cameras. Pretty good for 4K video even with the kit lens, and it's amazing when paired with fast prime lenses!

What a Steal...
I do video, but til now never purchased a DSLR as much of what I do is more Run - Gun. Too Impressed
I'm a somewhat novice wedding filmmaker. From Ghana, West Africa. Passive Youtube student of Lord Kraig Adams basically.lol Switched to this from a 7D and that choice, i'll never regret.The intense crop factor almost put me off but the Rokinon12mm f/2.0 NCS CS Lens i got with this was honestly my dealbreaker. Get this if you're not very bothered about the competition. This thing is honestly a TOP underdog.

Best in its class!
This is my first own serious camera and I'm absolutely happy with it! Worth every dollar spent. I have experience using Canon 5D MK3 at work, and in terms of ergonomics and convenience G7 to my mind is better. - 4k video at 30fps looks stunning! - Ability to drag full-size pictures out of video and change the focus in post is impressive; - WiFi connection is simple and useful, though there are not many options in the app, and occasionally app stops working; - Many decent lenses to choose for M4/3 - Good low-light performance either on manual or with the help of the firmware.

LUMIX g7 a hit with me
I've only had several days to photograph with this camera but I am quite impressed particular with the vide quality. This camera is not for a novice, however. There are many options on the menu. Many which I haven't really tested. One needs to read the manual multiple times to get the most out of this camera.

A wonderful camera for the starting consumer
I haven't done photography with an SLR for 15-ish years with older film cams. For me, it was too much to take notes about what I did for which take and then wait for the film to develop to see the results. With digital and continuous preview, it's a lot easier to really get to know the camera in the moment and feel things out. I bought it as a replacement for my DMC-G5 camera that turned up to be the camera that I have been taking with me more often than any DSLR that I own. So far the camera seems to work nicely. Came from a Canon DSLR and I'm glad I switched!
I had a t3i and 7D before I bought the LUMIX G7. I really liked the t3i's flip out screen and the 7D's easy controls for adjusting aperture. On the G7 you get both of those plus a touch screen and wifi, 4K video, good battery life, an evf, better low light (3200 ISO looks decent) and more. Amazing camera, wish it came with better lens.
I use this camera for family pictures and video. I'm amazed at the picture quality and love the features offered by this camera. Although I'm a beginner when it comes to using this kind of camera, the features are very easy to use, and the picture settings are very easy to locate and adjust on the fly. Very Pleased!
Truly a great camera. I shoot local TV commercials, and this is now my goto camera for just about all of them. Even the kit lens produces decent images and video. I have bought a few prime lenses to get even better quality out of the camera. The color quality is great, the image quality is very good. With the proper settings, you can get terrific low light images that are clean with no to very little grain.

my go to camera--when I go for my morning walk and when I hike in the mountains this is my go to camera Have given up on the heavy DSLRs love the lightweight M4/3rds EVF could have been a little larger but it does work fine for me--in fact I think I am starting to prefer the EVF over the OVF--out here in the sunny desert you do need a viewfinder whether it be a OVF or a EVF
