zero to very low noise set up
After having this pretty awesome camera for about a year, I have finally cracked the noise code. here is my set up: Under Camera Set Up -Customize Scene 1 -Detail Level -7 -V Detail Level -7 -Detail Coring -7 -DRS Effect 1 -Gamma HD Norm -Knee Auto -Matrix Cine-Like -NR Control +7 Set up Record Set Up on MP4(LPCM) mode and choose your resolution. Use on Manual Mode instead of IA. This set up has been my go to set up for quite some time with great results. Good luck.

Awesome
I have not bought it yet. I tried it out with some folks. Quick OverviewAmazing Built and quality, feels good, picture quality is mind blowing, features are amazing, superb in low light, Sound Quality is Fabulous, and so easy to use and understand this camcorder. Definitely better than all 4K cameras available for under $ right now. I will probably be getting one during christmas. Great for weddings, events, Independent Filmmaking.

I love this baby!
I did so much research before purchasing a camera. I was a little nervous because some of the reviews were a little harsh. I have found if you know how to work this camera it delivers awesome results and my clients are very happy and impressed with the end results!

24P Issue!
There is an issue with 24p (4K and HD)... Produces intermident wavy flickering interference. 60p and 30p work great though. I'd rate 5 stars if not for the (firmware?) 24p mode issue. I suspect this is a firmware problem?

Incredible piece of equipment
I did a lot of research before moving up to 4K and talked to people using equipment in the field. This HC-X1000 had very favorable comments. I have now used it a few times and am impress with it from top to bottom.

Great Camera
Like most guys, I don't read the manual until I have to. That said, out of the box the HC-X1000 shoots phenomenally well. I look forward to putting it to use

as i expected
i got it mainly for my skateboarding job. They are small and perfect. Low light are not that great but i mostly only use it in day time anyway.

I could not get a steady picture when I try to edit it keep jumping I try doing every so I didn't returned but no lock.
