Nice, but not quite good enough
From this manufacturer, one expects top-drawer goods, and this headset falls short. On the plus side, the two-piece cord set works nicely. The fixed piece is just right for MP3 players while walking. The long cord works well with television sets, including the stereo volume control. It is light and small enough for walking, if only just barely, and the build quality appears adequate. Great for Watching TV-Love the long cord and volume control
I chose these HD 65 TV headphones to watch TV without disturbing others in the house. I considered getting wireless headphones, but there are already too many battery powered devices in my home. I just don't want one more thing that needs constant recharging or battery replacement. I love that these come with the Left and Right Volume control. Top performance for TV, low price
Very pleased to get a Sennheiser at this price, for TV only. Sound quality is better than the ancient TDK it replaced, this unit is lighter on the head and nicely padded, and while not noise-canceling I'm now hearing less background noise also. For those who complain about the volume sliders on this model, they seem to be there to reduce/kill audio during commercials. If your TV, like mine, has low headphone audio output you will need a microphone amplifier. Don't expect these headphones to make up for inferior sound output from your TV.

Excellent volume-control headphones!
I love these headphones. The sound quality is superb, and the independent left-right volume controls enable me to create the perfect volume for whatever I'm watching. I also love that the cord is long enough that I don't need an extension. Great product!

Very Good Sound
The sound quality and volume are very good. Speech from the television comes through intelligbly. The speakers do not fit flatly on my ears, though. They would need to rotate more.

Volume control is useless!
Got it for wife because Smart TV doesn't allow you to change volume when you use audio out. Thought these would help. She'll never use them. You only get the volume the TV give you.
