A lens for my Lumix G7
I haven't really had a chance to give this lens a workout yet, but the price was great, the shipping was right on time, and I'm confident that the lens will perform admirably.

Good outdoor zoom lens
For the price, it's a decent lens when shooting in daylight. It is light and compact due to all plastic except for the glass elements. Better than acceptable image quality in daylight. A consumer lens built quality.

Excellent lens for price!
I bought this lens not expecting too much; however, I was surprised that it performed so well. Its optics are very good giving nice, clear, crisp and sharp photos with good color. Its very light weight which makes carrying it a non-factor. While I am primarily a Nikon shooter, I bought an Olympus Pen system when I travel and don't want to be weighted down with heavy lenses. I now tend to shoot more with the Pen system because it is lighter, discr... Show More

LIght weight, sharp images, essential travel companion
the lens is lightweight and easy to use. It is a good addition to the micro for its third system especially for travel. the recent price discounts make the lens an incredibly good value. The images are sharp. On the downside, it does not have image stabilization and hand tremor shake is significant at the maximum focal length despite in body image stabilization. I tested the lens on the GH5 body and it was a good lightweight companion for travel.... Show More

Excellent camera
I was quite surprised at the quality of images I am able to get with this lens. Primarily it will be used for wildlife/landscape work As I am a Caretaker at a retreat center in Central Oregon. The detail is excellent and the bokeh is surprisingly creamy and pleasant. I absolutely love the diminutive size and feather weight. I am also quite convinced that, in order to get an improvement that I can actually see without pixel-peeping, I will have to spend more than 10 times the amount. This may actually be the best value I have ever run across in my 40+ years of photography!

Very good product for the price
For the price, this is a great deal and you can get some seriously good looking shots. The only downside is that the purple fringing can get noticeable, but it's easily fixed in Lightroom or some such. Great for portraits too with low aperture and high zoom, lots of depth of field.

Excellent zoom lens for the Olympus OM-D EM10 Mark II Camera
Excellent zoom lens for the price ($99). I bought it for the Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark II camera and it works/fits like a charm. Until now used it mostly for portraits, had not enough opportunity (only 1 occasion) to use it outdoors. But it does everything I expected from it, even more... The retro (silver) finish is also very attractive! Highly recommended!

Great Budget Lens For Your 4/3 kit
Our studio is just beginning and we really needed to add some focal length to our 4/3 kit, but a real affordable price. Our review process led us to this lens. We knew Olympus makes great lenses but for this price point we wasn't for sure it could be that good. To our delight the positive reviews are spot on. This lens packs a punch for this price point. We have paired it with the Panasonic G7 and the 40-150mm (80-300mm equivalent) makes a good p... Show More

I would buy this product again!
I am very happy with this lens. I am using it with a Lumix GX7 and find that it is fast to focus, sharp and very light weight.

Good Value
I bought this lens with a great discount that B&H was running on it. I don't think I would try it at the full list price as I had my sights set on the tiny Panasonic 35-100. I'm happy I got it. The lens is quite small and light and gives decent picture quality both at the short and the long end. My Olympus body doesn't have a viewfinder and as I learned with this lens the lacking added stability when you bring the camera up to your eye to take a ... Show More

This is the telephoto nifty fifty of MFT lenses
Everyone knows about the famous Canon nifty fifty 50mm f/1.8 lens family: an absurdly cheap prime lens with great performance that every Canon shooter should buy to supplement the kit lens. After two days of shooting with this lens, I firmly believe that this is the perfect second lens for cheaply but very effectively enhancing the capabilities of your MFT camera. The only compromise Olympus made is the lack of image stabilization. I have a Panas... Show More

Surprisingly sharp.
This lens is quite good for it's price. It will beat lenses of the same range twice it's price from tamron, sigma and low end canon lenses.

Great Budget Lens
Decent budget zoom for the micro four thirds system. Bought on sale at $99 to use with my G7. Lack of OIS can be an issue when shooting in low light, but for landscape or shooting in daylight it performs well.

Zukio Zoom
It's lightweight, had a great sale price and I'm learning to use it. I'm still at newbie at using the Olympus camera itself, so am on a double steep learning curve. Some of the other reviews were not that encouraging, so I adjusted my expectations before the purchase. So far, so good.

Great Inexpensive Zoom
If you're looking for an inexpensive zoom lens, this will for sure get the job done. However, the autofocus performance isn't very good especially in low light, and when extended, the lens doubles its length. But I'm still going to give it four stars because of the price.

Kit like lens, ok for price
An ok lens but feels like a kit lens. Very light weight and nice zoom range. Not durable, aweful lens cap, and expensive hood.

Great value
For under $200 you can't beat this small, light 40-150mm from Oly. A little soft in the corners at either extreme of the zoom range even at f8, but surprisingly sharp and contrasty otherwise. My only real complaint is that it is quite slow so can be a bit of a challenge for action/sports photography (but at 4-5.6 that's a known limitation going in). Otherwise a nice little lens that is well worth the money if you don't have the budget for the 40-150 f2.8.

Working Great, Pleased with my purchase
I'm an amateur photographer who's been using the kit 14-42 mm lens for about a year. I was looking to expand my repertoire a bit and chose this lens. It's been great so far and I've enjoyed being able to try out some different styles of photography.

Versatile
I needed a lens that would allow me to capture my granddaughter's gymnastics routines from across the gym. This fits the bill and then some. I can actually get personal close ups without photoshop! Can't wait to try it out in nature as well.

I've been very happy with this lens
this is a replacement for the identical lens, which I have been using for the last couple of years--nice an light, easy to carry in forest trails, gives very nice images of people participating in activities even in low-light situations.

Light, Small, Affordable
Have only used it a handful of times but no regrets for the price. Olympus only provides 1 yr warranties with their m43 products which is why I wait for a sales, as I did with this lens. To be fair I think all m43 manufacturers only do 1 yr on bodies and lenses, something to consider.

Big reach but not much to carry
I wished that all my lenses were as well built, lite, and easy to operate as the M. Zuiko ED 40-150mm zoom. As travel photographer that takes nature and wildlife shots, I travel with minimalistic intent and that carry-on weight is on my mind for long voyages. The lens is well built, but not with a lot of metal; it does have metal where it counts, however. What is amazing is holding an equivalent 300mm lens in the palm of your hand.

Excellent quality at this price tag
At this reasonable price, i am totally satisfied with its quality. The lens body is plastic. However, you will get excellent result if you use it carefully.

A good match with the 14-42
Nice and light. Designed to match the 14-42 in looks and performance. Both are pretty sharp and the color transmission and contrast are nearly identical. With my OMD ME-5 makes a very good traveling kit.
