An elegant solution
I have been struggling with 3 mechanical switch boxes to bounce between my two dual monitor Macs. The video switches, after a few weeks, began to fail. The contacts became faulty and the monitors displayed incorrect colors or incorrect luma. I had to manipulate the switch to get a near decent image. If you need it this is the way to go
It's expensive and it has issues with Windows 7, but if you're working with multiple displays this sure saves space and cash. It did not work with my speakers though and this is a real shortcoming if you ask me. They say it should work with any powered set of speakers, but only two. Works like a slightly tarnished charm.
This dual monitor two computer KVM is well built and the set-up instructions are clear. The switch functions without problem but the instructions are not quite what they should be. Firstly, the plugs marked for computer A really are those for computer B and vice versa! This is a surprising, not an earthshattering problem, but requires a bit of rethinking. great for dual displays
I use two monitors so this enables me to switch seamlessly from my Mac, for photography, to my PC for 3d rendering. I didn't need to run 4 computers which this switch can do. However I couldn't a unit for just 2 computers. I had previously tried other solutions recommended, that had not worked. This is more expensive but works really well.

Time-Saver Money-Saver
With this device there is no need to buy extra monitors or power down and switch cables when using two desktop computers. Simply push a button (or use the Hot Keys option) and you can toggle between boxes. Easy to set up and use and takes up very little space on my table. Included cables are generous in length to allow ease of routing.
