Incredible sound, lacks some features tho
This headphones are amazing. Incredible sound, incrediblle comfortable while wearing them. Noise cancelling works perfect, and i love the feeature that you cover the right side for leaving outside sound come in. BUT there are some issues: the touch control sometimes doesn't recognize your gestures. Noise cancelling shuts off in 5 mins without connection.
I bought these for noise cancelling only and was shocked to find out that I without plugging the input cord into it or using active blue tooth the noise cancelling shuts off after just 5 minutes. Seems like Sony could correct this with a software fix, but they haven't. I don't want to hook it to my phone or leave the cord dangling from the headphones when I'm using power tools or yard equipment. I found that standard hearing protection earmuffs from 3M at $25 work about 90% as well as these. Bad design, Sony!

Rich sound, but cancelling could be better
The sound quality is excellent with a balanced frequency response out of the box. Battery life is very good – I could easily go a week between charges if I had to with some regular light use. They’re comfortable and not too heavy, surrounding the ears perfectly, even with glasses on. Due to the seal, you may find you get hot ears if you’re doing anything physical but I don’t imagine that can be helped. Could be better at cancelling which works much better on lower freq’s than higher ones (kids).

Excellent sound and good Noise cancelling
V good sound quality. Being over ear they naturally cancel a lot of the ambient sound without the n/c being turned on. With this on low drone noise is effectively eliminated. It won't cancel sudden noises but it still puts you nicely into a pool of quiet. Use mine mainly for playing a roland electric piano and they easy cut out the TV noise. Only downside is they can be a bit hot if you are doing more than sitting or gentle exercise. I wouldn't use these for gym or running...too big and too hot

Absolutely impressed!
First of all, the design on these are so sleek and elegant, makes me want to wear them just for the ‘fashion’ factor. Build quality is very good, and the sound quality! SUPERB! Excellent highs, mids and great low end, bass has a nice thump to it, not overpowering. The ANC is pretty nice too, takes away low end rumble when used in car, ANC improves sound too. Battery Life lasted 47 hours! (From first use). Overall, very impressed, another one of Sony’s greats! Nathan

Isolate yourself from the world!
I first used these headphones when a friend I was travelling with showed them to me. I already had a pair of noise cancelling headphones, but these were a massive step up. After my old 'phones broke down I decided to take the plunge with these and I did not regret it. Amazing sound quality and excellent build make these an amazing set of headphones.

Great stylish headphoned
A great pair of headphones. I can now hear my podcasts on the tube train without having to crank up the volume. The functions on the ear pieces are easy to use and very responsive. I love these headphones. The only thing is they are slightly too big. But then I have a small head.
