You should buy this prop guards
If you want to protect your DJI Phantom 3 drone this is what you need. Protects props, body shell as well, from crashes. Tested!! A good low price can save your investment. Believe me, i should have this prop guards before. I crashed mine the second day after i bought it. i spent lot of money in another body only drone. Do not hesitate. DJI should include this props guards in the box.

works well but might not fit case
I am still very new with flying the copter. I already had a few crashes where I think the prop guards helped. The guards themselves are easy to install. Its a little less clear how to install the string that comes with them, at least in terms of getting it tight. One key item to know is that the copter does not fit inside the case that came with it when the prop guards are on.

A Must Buy!
I got tired of breaking propellers. We live in a city with lots of trees. It's really easy to run into a branch or limb and each time a propeller will break. I haven't broken a propeller since purchasing these guards. They are easy to put on and have great durability. I noticed that it increased the visibility as well, makes it look twice as big when flying.

OK, but...
Seems like they do the job, but I wish these would snap on securely instead of having to mount with small screws. The reason? All the prop guards need to be removed each time this goes into the recommended case (2700WPHA2) and this is a big inconvenience. I can't blame the case for this issue. If the guards released quickly, I'd just throw them in the case.

Good, could be better
A security must. Helps somewhat to protect props and humans from damage. Ideally, this would be a single plastic unit, negating the need for flimsy strings attaching one prop guard to the other and would not weight much more. Should be made thicker at the ouside round rims to protect better. Made more to protect props from damage, less to protect humans.

Works, but hard to transport
Prop guards work well for what they're designed for. If you're flying in your backyard they probably make sense to get. The problem, however, is that they do not fit in most carrying cases meaning you would have to take out and put back in 8 screws every time you want to transport the unit. For that reason, I bought these, but don't use them at all.

Causes VRS
After crashing my phantom a couple times, I learned that prop guards are good while slamming into something. However, the prop guards will worsen the effects of VRS. A common problem where you enter the prop wash and you quad falls out of the sky. Which I believe is what caused my wrecks. They are nice but I have had better luck without them.

PROP Guards
Prop guards arrived ASAP. Set up and attached right out of the box. I needed a separate Allen Key to unscrew the short screws and attached the 4 separate Prop guards to the model with the new longer screws. Made short work of the job and took it flying right after. DJI even included extra screws. Delighted by the quick delivery from B&H !!

DJI Phantom 2+
I'm sure this is a great addition to the quadcopter, but the problem is it's not easy to take these off and put them back on. If you don't have to backpack your quadcopter these would be great, but if you have to take the blades off of the QC you're stuck with having to unscrew the guards. I have yet to put these on for that reason.

Great investment!
I bought these propgaurds after I chipped some props from either rough landings or trying to fly in tight spaces. These work wonderfully and only take about 5 minutes to install. They don't seem to affect the flight if the craft either, NOTE: your quadcopter will not fit in the goprofessional with these prop guards installed.

This product works well
The Phantom often tips over onto the props at takeoff and landing. These guards work well to prevent prop damage. I noticed no change in flight control on a still day. I'm not sure how winds would affect flight control. The kit came well packaged, with plenty of string and two extra screws for mounting. All of high quality.

Great for beginners and for safety
This is an essential addition for any first time Phantom owner. The first time I started my Phantom 2 Vision+ up to take off, it tipped and went a bit haywire (due to operator error). Because of these prop guards, there was no damage to the body or to the blades. Definitely highly recommended to protect your investment!

Lifesaver
I was shooting a cinematic sweep off the edge of a cliff and a ridiculous gust of wind slammed my phantom into a pine tree as I crossed the lip of the cliff. Would have been a yard sale without these. Two of them broke, but my props weren't damaged at all. Small price to pay. At least I was able to continue the shoot!

Protects my Blades
a must have if you own a DJI. P.S. I always purchase from B&H. those guys are great... they are right there if you have a problem.... no stupid operator recording in India. The Dji phantom 3 isn't capable of detecting near by obstacles in comparison with Dji phantom 4, so prop guards are absolutely necessary adding more protection and aggressive style. Installation instructions are included in the package and it's very simple to assemble. YouTube videos are also available.

Protection save propellers.
I used these to protect my propellers during training flights. They work great. Very durable and easy to put on and take off. Caution, the screws come in a small white paper bag that looks exactly like the bags used to keep moisture out of shipping boxes. Easy to overlook and accidentally throw away.

These are a must have item
If you have or are considering a Phanton 2 then these guards will save your expensive props. They come with all the hardware you need to install them and mine even had extra screws. One little tip over on landing (very easy to do) and you will know why these are so necessary. Well worth the cost.

A needed extra!!!
The prop guards were a life (drone) saver while learning to fly the drone. It durably guarded agains the tree branch I accidentally flew into during first flight, keeping the drone from crashing. There was not significant difference flying with or without them, other than they saved my bacon.

Absolutely essential for the Phantom
The prop guard will protect the props in the obvious instance should the Phantom hit an object in flight. However, I found it very useful in protecting the props when the Phantom is still on the ground if the motors are running and a wind tips the Phantom as it lifts off.

Perfect fit, quick and easy to install
I should have purchased these before our first flight, because we banged the Phantom 2 into the side of the house and destroyed 2 props. When I received these guards, I installed all four in just a few minutes. We won't be banging into the house again. Excellent product.

Good addition, but not needed
I got these for my Phantom 2 Vision+ after seeing them on a friends Phantom. While you do not need them, they just help keep your blades from hitting stuff or the ground in the relate occasion the copter tips over at landing. For the minimal cost I would get them again.

Nice for Practice Flying
I purchased the guards after clipping a few tree branches while flying in some tight areas. Works well..saves tearing up the props while perfecting your flying skills. I prefer not to use them on all flights...the phantom seems to balance better without the guards.

GREAT GUARDS
This is the best product to have with your phantom. the things have saved my drone countless times from either damaging the props or the body itself. I love these babies because they aren't to heavy and don't really throw off the flight of the quad. great product.

A Must have to protect your investment.
The prop guards are a must have to protect your investment. These have already protected my props from getting damaged during a landing. Extra weight is not noticed much and the benefit of protecting your Phantom is greater benefit over carrying the extra weight.
