Winner, Best Gift of the Year
Everything about the Mavic Mini looks and feels high quality materials and thoughtful design. Above all, it performs flawlessly. The unit itself gives much bang for the buck, and the Fly More combo is also a solid value. Don't think twice about it, you know you want one! (unless you want a zoom lens, then look further up the line).

Fantastic kit
My first drone was an original model Phantom from DJI. It was great, but tough to fly sometimes. This little drone is light years ahead of that Phantoms technology. The auto takeoff and land options are fantastic. It does a great job of watching out for objects on its on too. This kit is a great setup for a great price as well. It has plenty of battery power, blade guards, a carrying case. Just add a memory card.

Grounded!!! -wrong Phone
After getting the Mini, I tried downloading the DJI-Fly. I couldn't find the app on Google play but eventually found it directly on the Web. Installation failed multiple times and eventually I contacted DJI support only to be told that my phone (HTC) was not supported. Did I miss this from the B&H page? Grounded because wrong type of phone
Just got the Mini for this X-Mas. Followed all of the instructions trying to download and install DJI fly (needed for the full flying experience) into my HTC phone but kept getting errors (app not installed). Finally contacted the vendor (via email) only to find that the HTC cell phone is not compatible with the drone.... Did I miss a the list of the compatible phones somewhere in the B&H page? Checked it again and it only said Android 6.0 or better not that it requires specific phones... Maybe it is hidden somewhere and not very obvious... so make sure you check before buying it ....

Exactly what I expected
I currently own a Mavic pro and phantom 4 pro that I fly for both my business and pleasure. Purchased a mini hoping for the same quality I have in both my other DJI products. At first glance it seemed a bit toy like. But once in the air, I was pleasantly surprised. My first flight was indoors with low light and no gps and it was rock solid. Outside, its fantastic. And as usual, with a 25 day wait from DJI, B&H delivered in 2 days! Very pleased!

Worth every penny of it.
This is my first drone, it well exceeded my expectations, in terms of long range, low noise, smooth and high video quality... Please note, if following is critically important for you, don't buy. 1. This drone does not have Active Tracking. 2. This drone does not have 4K video mode, it's up to 2.7K. Otherwise, buy it.

Easy to Use
This drone package is so easy to use. First, the drone is amazingly effortless to fly and with a little practice, anyone (even myself) can become a reasonably competent operator. The app is also very painless to navigate including the editing portion. The picture quality is OK. It's not great, but it's more than good for social media and such. I highly recommend this package for serious beginners.

Does everything that I need - at a Fraction of the Price!
I have owned several drones, including the DJI Mavic and Spark. The Mavic 'Mini' offers all the features of these higher priced drones, at a reasonable price. $499 and you'll have everything that you need - more battery life (3 batteries - each realistically providing roughly 24 minutes of flight time), a very reliable remote (my DJI Spark would constantly lose connection to the DJI Go Fly app through my iPhone), and better propeller protection. ... If you have the budget, get the Mavic Air
I own the Mavic Air and bought the Mini. The Mini performs as advertised so I gave it 5 stars. However, its capability is much less than the Air. The Mini has no forward/backward avoidance capability. It does fly longer on a battery charge. The Mini has very limited preprogrammed moves. Of course the Mini is much less expensive than the Air. They are close to the same size and convenience. If you have the budget I would recommend the Air over the Mini.

The Best Current Light Weight Drone
I give the Mavic Mini it self as a system, 5 stars. (I would subtract 2 of them if I factor in the Phone Requirements, see the caveat at the end.) Very Easy to Fly
This drone is perfect for the beginner, its very easy to set up and get airborne. There are many videos to guide you through from unpacking to camera settings. It is quiet compared to my P3 and maneuvers very quickly. You can take off and land it anywhere there is a sq ft clear area. The Fly More Combo gives you about 90 minutes of fight time. I bought this little drone to complement my travel photography. Up until now, I had no RC flying experience. This little drone is not only light but easy to fly. For folks that dont like to read a lot of manuals, its also intuitive. Great drone; lousy DJI support
I was waitlisted with Mavic Minis back-ordered at every retailer. B&H got mine to me quickly when they became available. I couldn't wait to launch on my front lawn to get aerials of our Christmas lights. We live a few blocks inside Class D airspace and so I got FAA permission to fly. Guess what? I couldn't override the built-in restriction in the drone! I went online and discovered NOBODY CAN! DJI promises a firmware update in late December. Well, it's late December now and I still can't fly. Funny how the company didn't mention this when I bought the drone. Pretty shady.

Great drone for the price!
I have only flown a few time, but it is amazing what you get for the price. As far as I can tell, it might be able to come close to the performance of larger drones without some of the restrictions that come with the additional weight.

Can't Fly, Yet
If you plan to use an Android device (you MUST use an Android or iOS device before your 1st flight), download the dji Fly app BEFORE you buy. If you can't install the app on any of your devices, you will not be able to fly the Mavic Mini.

Good value, good product equals good times!
This is my first camera drone so I have nothing to compare it to. I have flown RC aircraft/helis/quads for 20+ years. The technology in this thing is mind blowing as far as I am concerned. Battery malfunction - never left the ground
So disappointed in this drone - it was supposed to be a Christmas gift, but the battery immediately malfunctioned and won't accept a charge after performing a firmware update. You can search for Mavic Mini Battery Error Code 30074 and you'll see all the others with the exact same problem. Sad and inept product.

Best little beginner drone
Amongst every drone in the store this one has to be one of the best if not the best. Its very capable in the wind, video looks good and so do photos, the photos in darker scenarios are really nice, not too dark off the bat and exposure is adjustable, range is nice , it fits in most if not all of my pockets, its super light and under 250g so you dont have to register to the FAA as a drone pilot so you can just take it out and fly it out of the box...
