Pleasantly surprised
Bought DacMagic to replace 30 year old CAL Sigma. Still using CAL Delta transport. Sigma had tube output and produced very warm but distinct output to solid state amp and preamp. Have large selection of cd but have been streaming. DacMagic does extremely well in creating broad, deep and detailed imaging yet is still warm and mellow. Mated perfectly with Delta transport using Van Den Hul The First as rca interconnect. Good to have 4 different source capability as well.

add depth to already good sound
I bought the Da agic to connect my smartphone to my stereo system (via USB, requires OTG cable and USB Audio Player app)it preforms great. I then tried to connect my Cambridge Audio CD30 player (2008)to Rotel amp and B&W 685 speakers and the sound was so much better. Highly recommended.
