Behringer B108D - 8 300W 2-Way Powered PA Speaker

Sounds great, needs a handle.

The B108D sounds great. There's enough low end for it to stand alone, but don't expect subwoofer bass out of it. The sound output is clean all the way to the clip light but don't plan on using it for front of house sound. It is definitely an auxiliary cabinet. For example, if you're playing DJ music and want a small speaker for fill outside on a patio where loud, front of house sound is not desired, but decent volume ambient background music, thi... Show Mores will work fine. Or, if you play keyboard to entertain residents in a nursing home, this is a great speaker for that use (only 1 input, though). I purchased this speaker for a bingo tent and it will probably be the best sounding speaker system these bingo people have ever used. The only drawback, and it's minor and easily rectified, is there is no handle on the cabinet. The cabinet is very lightweight (only 13 pounds) but there's no way to pick it up with one hand. If you're into labor saving devices, install a small spring loaded cabinet handle on the side and it will make carrying one in each hand possible - otherwise, you're using two hands which can be a waste if you have a lot to set up. I like this powered box for what it is - an 8 2-way speaker - and only plan to use it for low to medium intensity use. If I need more volume, out come the Behringer powered 12s and some subs. If you need a good sounding full range speaker that gets reasonably loud (I estimate around 118 dB to 120 dB at 3 feet at the clip light) this is a good choice for not a lot of money.
