Beautiful
I purchased the monitor to be an additional monitor for my lap top when working on school work. The screen is a good size for me, much better than the 13 I was working with. The picture quality is amazing. I do not game, so I do not know how it would do for that. The stand is a little weak, as other views suggest. However I have it sitting a rather larger table that is pretty solid. I do not have a problem with it.

Great Monitor
Couldn't be happier. The matte finish on the screen beats the heck out of glossy, and doesn't make my eyeballs hurt. Even at half brightness and contrast this thing will completely light up a dark room. The stand is a little wobbly, but as long as you're not using it on a boat, you'll probably be fine. Colors are fantastic. I hooked it up to my new mac mini via HDMI and my old PC via VGA, and I can quickly switch between the two. Love it.

Excellent display
Worked perfectly, after I found the power switch! I thought the symbols on the front were touch sensitive controls. Not so, the buttons are out of sight right under the bezel. Haven't tried any fine tuning yet. Great quality image right out of the box.

Great Product, Great Price
I use this monitor for an extra screen to move around in when I'm editing video or pictures. Having the extra space is a necessity and I'm glad I could get it for such a cheap price. Monitor came in 4 days on free standard shipping. The quality of the picture is great! The only issue I have is that it is difficult for me to calibrate the colors to match my imac. The colors look great, but matching them seems impossible. Overall good product, great deal.

A true 24!
The ASUS VS248H-P is a true 24 monitor, not a 24-inch class version. I love having a large, bright screen, even though I use it only for conventional office type activities and applications. It has been very easy to use, but the OSD/Menu was a bit confusing to navigate.

Exactly what I wanted
After much, much review-reading and hand-wringing, I bought two ASUS VS248H-Ps for my office. I am running both off of my macbook pro (10.7) using an HDMI 2 USB adapter (BIOSTAR). I have now had them for about two weeks. They set up works just as I had hoped. The Right Choice
I spent some time comparing monitors and after considering cost and value, this was the right choice for me. This monitor is a great choice for anyone in the market, from the average web-browser, to the movie watcher, to the Gamer. I bought this so I could watch movies withough squinting as well as play pc games and not stare at a gigantic screen. It is the perfect size for me. Very clean looking, and if you get it wall mounted, you have the perfect setup. I give it 5 stars.

Great Monitor for the Price.
I bought this monitor to replace a 22 Samsung. The Samsung monitor seemed to have better colors but this Asus Monitor is nice and bright and after a little bit of color calibration I had the picture looking sharp and crisp. For the Price, this monitor really is a steal and I would probably buy again if I needed to add more monitors to my setup.

Need 2 More!
I don't know why it took me so long to upgrade from my 23 8 year old Viewsonic LCD. Even though it's still running strong, when compared with the VS248H-P 24 LED side by side I can't even stand to look at my over the hill LDC. The color and clarity of this monitor is truly amazing and the only problem I have now is purchasing 2 more to run so I can run my Eyefinity setup! TLDR - If you haven't upgraded monitors in a few years, do yourself a favor and bite on this power sipping gem.

All I can say is WOW!!
My wife thought I was wasting our money getting a new monitor as we have a 22 Chimei that she thought was great. It has been a week now and she continues to rave about the bright vibrant colors, easy to read text and how it is easy on her eyes for extended usage. She even commented that maybe we should get another, fingers crossed.

Got two for home use on my gaming rig. I enjoy watching HD movies, shows and playing games. Color and response are great, I can barely notice any ghosting. Easy to Set Up, Delivers as Promised

Best 24 monitor for gaming.
Excellent monitor for under $200. Crystal clear, LED lit. Unbelievable dynamic range. Easy to set up with VGA, DVI & HDMI connections. Was a little bright out of the box. After trying out all the various settings, I ended up just using the standard setting. Super fast shipment from B & H.
