Love my new 16 MacBook Pro
I was looking for a replacement for my 15 mid 2013 MacBook pro and decided to get myself a Christmas present. It is exactly what I was looking for. The keyboard is excellent and the speed and storage is a nice upgrade from my older macBook Pro. I am very happy with the purchase.

Couldn't be happier
I'm an app developer who's worked on mac desktops and laptops all the way back to the original mac (yikes!). I splurged on this new laptop at the very end of the year after careful review of other developers' reviews. And I'll keep this short 'n sweet: For my money, this is everything I hoped it'd be. the screen is great, the keyboard is finally solid and reliable, and it's just a pleasure to use.

Great Mobile Workhorse
Very happy with the capability and performance of the computer so far. I was replacing an old iMac with this machine and so far this computer has been fast, fast, fast. Only reason for not giving it 4 stars is the battery life could be a little better. I've been uploading Dropbox files in the background for a few days, which I'm sure affects it, but I can usually only get 4-5 hours out of a single cycle.

Doesn't work well with some programs and hardware
Only 64 bit software is supported so many things don't work or don't work well with it. Adobe Bridge does not recognize any folders or files on the desktop or document files. One of my monitors now flickers with changes in color temperature. Does not work with old versions of Microsoft Office. Does not recognize Bose headphones on Bluetooth. MPEG Streamclip does not work with it. And the list goes on. A huge waste of money and time and a big disappointment.

PC Guy Falls in Love with MacBook
I've been a PC guy for many years and never quite understood the Mac mystique. Wanted a new laptop and saw the specs and reviews on the new 16 MacBooks and decided to take the plunge. Wow am I happy with my purchase! The new MacBooks are magnificently built and are just impeccable machines. I highly recommend anyone looking for a new laptop take a serious look at the new MacBooks.

As advertised in terms of power; Amazing sound; bad connex
This is my first MacBook Pro upgrade since 2012, so LOTS of changes. The pros: Retina display: unreal how clear and crisp it is with the bigger screen. Absolutely top of class. Sound: Again...unreal. 2013 MacBook Pro replacement
It was time to replace my old 2013MBP. It just couldn't keep up with my photography work. This new 16 model is wonderfully better processing pictures. No more hangs and crashes. Love the keyboard and speakers
I was lucky to be able to upgrade from 2018 15 inch MacBook Pro to this 2019 16 inch. The screen size is in fact not much bigger on paper, but is noticeable in real life usage. But the key upgrade is the keyboard, I used to make a lot of mistake on the previous keyboard and found it not pleasant to use. but on this one, I love it. Worth the update and the extra few millimeters in thickness. Speakers are also outstanding.

Solid, but no new innovation.
Its fast, the screen is crisp the keyboard is now back to how it should have been. But there is nothing new to excite here. Still no touch screen with pencil support, still no LTE much less 5G. It still gets hot and loud when doing some processing. Still only a 720p camera? Buy it to replace what you already have and used to, but dont expect to be wowed by this new laptop.

First time Macbook buyer
Overall I am very pleased with my purchase. All the reviews point to this Macbook as being an improved specs on all fronts (screen size, return to scissor keys, improved thermal cooling, improved speakers, physical escape key). I would like to see a better webcam but honestly I use my iOS devices to take care of video calls and selfies. Size seems appropriate but I never had a different Macbook to compare it to.

Perfect evolution
No complaints. Bigger, higher resolution screen, better battery life, faster GPU, improved thermals, reliable and redesigned keyboard... what's not to like? If you were on the fence about getting a 15 MBP, this should push you over the edge.

MacBook to Rule Them All
1st let me say the service was amazing I ordered my back and got It a whole day earlier than the delivery date. So from the start everything went great no hassle with purchase or delivery. Then I finally opened My New 16 MacBook Pro is and setup was fast and painless as usual with Apple products. And so far this MacBook is hands down amazing. I would recommend upgrading to enjoy a bigger screen and a keyboard that just feels smooth great under your fingers. Ive only had it a week so maybe after a month or so Ill do a follow up review as to how well it holds up under heavy usage.

Powerful 4K editing machine
The last MacBook Pro I bought was the 2013 retina. Its seems that Apple had forgotten about mobile professionals until this 16 MacBook Pro. The 16 is finally a worthy upgrade and it is even faster than my 2019 IMac 5k. Good job Apple on listening to us.

Yes, 25 years between 2 MAC, and it's the real story. Amazing, it's that I can write here after a week to work on it. The goal was to be able to use my DAW software and use my mixing music software better than PC. Really happy with speed and graphic.

It's a work horse except for one two little issues....
Ok, It's a MacBook Pro. Not much more I can say. But I have two issues. First, the track pad is actually a little too large for me. With my previous MacBook Pros I was very pleased but this track pad is huge and when I rest my hands like I normally would my hands actually touch the pad and cause some inadvertent mouse clicks and mouse movement so I'm having to relearn and rework muscle memory. Solid machine with a crisp screen and plush keyboard!
The updated keyboard goes back to the tried and true scissor switches. There's more travel than the butterfly keyboards but it does take a couple of hours to adjust to. Because of the thicker body, it feels a bit more hollow than the previous Macbooks, but is still a solid machine.

After Missteps, the MacBook Pro is back
the latest MacBook Pros took a big step back from the reputation that they have enjoyed over the last decade and a half. Apple asked you to pay more money for less (reliability, ports, operation, etc). The new MBP is better in almost every way and did not ask for more money. Everything is nearly perfect (the only major complaint is the trackpad).

BEST MACBOOK PRO YET
So happy to trade in my 2016 Macbook Pro for this new updated version. The keyboiard brings satisfying relief with the new butterfly mechanism. The sound system is a major improvement with deep bass and great fidelity. The high performance video card, when used, is especially appreciated for photo editing. And the new 16 inch display makes you feel like you are working at a desktop!

Latest MacBook Pro, pro's and con's
First the pro's: The machine is fast. For the photography work we do it's plenty fast. Beautiful large screen. I didn't think it would seem much different from the 15 but it's noticeable, clear and crisp with excellent color. A keyboard that actually works and a massive trackpad.
