Great bit of kit. Immediately realised the quality after upgrading from a good, but inferior interface - in dimension, transients and especially the high end.. Now I can experiment with the high/air frequencies without artifacts/break up, it can handle it.. The seamless integration of UAD plugins is incredible - the Distressor and the LA2A are amazing.. For me, Acustica Audio Nebula 4 is still the leader sonically, but that's after the event and still takes up beaucoup CPU. Highly recommended unit. if I had the money, i'd have brought the X(P) version with 8 x Unison pre's as opposed to 4 ..

UA has knocked it out of the park with this line of interfaces. I used this one to expand my current apollo set-up to 18 total inputs and couldn't be happier. The only thing is, just like apple, UA is a closed eco-system. If that doesn't bother you, these are great sounding interfaces with TONS of awesome features with some added tricks thrown in.

This was a great way to add great-sounding channels to my existing Apollo 8P. I use a Warm Audio WA412 for preamps on the line channels. Also got the Heritage Edition, which includes some really great plugins!

This is the best piece of digital equipment I have ever bought. I've owned all generations of Apollo hardware and this one is wonderful, I am so happy with it!! It's perfect!

Huge, huge huge improvement from my MOTU 828x. I should have bought this thing when hey first came out. Huge improvement in highs and lows.
