I love both 4-track cassette recording and using a DAW. This brings many pro aspects to each of those options with nearly none of the cons. You can run out from your DAW to mix on this board, you can use this to run into your DAW, you can record live, you can record solo with no computer, you can track on this and take the SD card out and mix on your DAW, the options are plenty! It’s a very inspiring piece of equipment, I’d recommend just going big and getting the Model 24, don’t settle for the smaller ones ... More

I purchased this unit and thought it would be good to share that it’s a decent unit I’m just getting into it have lots of experience and recording and I’ll probably edit my review but the only drawback is that this giant and I mean giant piece of real estate that you will have has a digital display read out it’s less than the size of your phone screen ? I don’t get it this is a table top unit huge and it’s not a bad thing but they have the display so small is irresponsible of a manufacturer

Great value, easy to use, however I would like to see some features like EQ in and out on each channel, inserts on every channel. Combined with Pro Tools Ultimate, it is a powerful Tools with a great analog feel! Thought about getting a Soundcraft 22MTK, but it does not have the capabilities to record 24 track at once and send it to Pro Tools. The Model 24 does it all. Using it every day in my home studio.

Bought this to be able to connect all of my synths and drum machines. Also may use it for recording live bands and running live sound. I've been really impressed by the sound of the on-board EQs. They beat the EQs on my old Soundcraft 12 MTK, and honestly, I can't think of any other mixer I've used where I like the EQs as much as this one.

I use it for songwriting and recording my songs. I bought the model 24 on 01-28-20 and on Channel 10 when I pulled the cover off (08-21-20), the white record button was gone! Vanished? I am assuming it came off when I pulled the cover off. I'll be taking it back tomorrow and exchange it for A replacement. It's still under warranty and I've only had it for 7 months. I am very very careful when using this unit so that being said this must be a quality control issue. Other than that I enjoy recording on it.

So far I've only made 20- track song demos. I'm disappointed the tracks recorded do not include effects, so I did a work around to use my Lexicon reverb on a spare track. The noise level needs a work around too, my TC Electronics finalizer.

If you want to make high quality recordings, very quickly without having to fire up your computer and deal with with a mouse, This is it! Absolutely loving this piece of gear! Perfect in the chain as either a standalone recording solution or an interfact to your DAW! I want the case too!

Home recording. This board sounds fantastic and is easy to use. A bit of a chore to update firmware, but not a big deal. I love it!

I was very unsatisfied with the interface function on this hardware. When it was time to bounce the mix from the daw nothing was bounce but the outputs that the stereo master fader was on. Very poor quality. I feel they advertised this like it could do so much but when a producer buy it and see errors so important like bouncing all the track of a mix then I don't be buying anymore tascam products.
