Perfect for PCs

I've been a Cubase/Wavelab user for years and had yet to get a Steinberg interface. I had MOTU 4Pre which worked great but had occasional drops, freezes and glitches on my PC (works seamless on my MacBook Pro). Now I love this UR44! Clean and very nice mic-pre. The synching and integration with Cubase is neat. Love how I can use it at my studio (PC), take it with me on my MacBook Pro OR my iPad!!! Really great unit!

6x4 USB 2.0 audio interface with 4x D-PREs, 24-bit/192 kHz support & MIDI I/O. The D-Pres have a good reputation, and I find them very clear, high headroom and plenty loud. No S/PDIF has not been an issue for me but some will find that a limitation. The conversion rate is very high for something in this price range: 24-bit 192k!

This is a good box. Two monitor sends is a nice bonus. Re placed my old tascam, the improvement in latency was tremendous. The preamps sound very clear. Uses through iPad running Auria. Nevermind the Steinberg software.

I bought it because it was the cheapest one, paid too much; the “C” model is updated and has faster usb speeds: my mistake
