First headset

This was purchased for my 7yr old nephew for his first gaming headset. He went oooh aaah awesome. It matched his white xbox perfectly and looks great on. Fits nicely and no problem switching the headset from child to adult whilst taking turns. Great bit of kit for the price. Connected to xbox one s without issue and the volume is really loud and clear.

My son (age 9) loves these headphones! He finds them comfy and so far we've had no problem with connecting for online gaming. The sound quality is good. Only 4 stars for design because they are a little bulky - but that's me being picky! I would say worth getting instead of the ones a little cheaper.

I bought these for my son as a replacement for a pair that were damaged. He loves the graphics on the ears and headband, they are particularly well made and quite robust. The sound quality is very good and they fit comfortably over your ears. The noise reduction is also very good for the price. The cable has a socket that fits at 90 degrees making them easier to unplug. Very pleased.

My ears don’t hurt after having these on for hours which is what I was looking for There is a mute and unmute switch on the wire and I love this as it’s so fast to mute yourself so your friends don’t have like to hear anything lol The colour is really nice and the mic is easy to move when eating Very easy setup on the ps and you can adjust the volume as it’s on the wire so easily accessible

Got this headset for my son. Used daily. I have A younger child the headset is very well made and made to last as well as extra comfy! Handy flexible micro fone cable to allow adjustment to suit all sizes. Great sound controls which are easy to use. Great for adults and children. I would certainly buy this item again and recommend it to a friend. In fact my friend actually went and got one after using mine. Fairly priced high quality item all round as always from Argos

Not the best headset. I usually buy the kids the turtle beach but not this time as my son (aged 7) liked the look of this one (mistake) My biggest annoyance was it says compatible with Xbox one but once you look at the instructions it says if using an original Xbox controller you need to buy an additional adapter which isn’t included and additional cost! Looks good and feels sturdy Not great sound Would not buy this product again . I would stick with Turtle Beach

This headset didn’t work on our X box one, which is only just over 2 years old. ( It does mention in the small print it may not work on older models) after googling, I found out the mic wasn’t linking to the X box as we hadn’t done a hand controller upgrade. So, after going to x box settings, accessories and wireless update the mic sign finally appeared on screen, and it worked. Would have been good if that info was in instructions. Otherwise it’s fine, still working 2 weeks later.

I bought these for my son before Christmas and within two weeks realised they had a bad connection causing intermittent sound. Firstly in RH side now in both. My son really likes these and has been using them carefully, at this price point expected them to last longer than a month. We have thrown out the packaging so am unsure if we can swap them or claim a refund.

After trying many different brands that broke quite quickly my son loves these ones. Sound quality is that good I can no longer hear him shouting into it (because his friends can hear him). Not the cheapest available but definitely worth the extra!
Small ear cups

Kids didn't like them. They said that the drivers were only a 40 and not 50 so they were not as loud. But their main gripe was that they felt the ear cups were smaller than their previous earphones so they said that they were uncomfortable. They would use them as a spare and if you get them dirt cheap then no doubt they will be absolutely fine.

Check the connection from the speech arm fits tight otherwise it makes and breaks

Nothing bad at all to say about these. My 6yr old loves them. They are well worth the money and kept the little man occupied and able to keep intouch and play with friends during lockdown.
