The Sony WH-CH720N Over-Ear headphones offer an impressive combination of comfort, convenience, and audio quality. With their sleek design and advanced features, they are a solid choice for those seeking a reliable pair of wireless headphones. Starting with comfort, the WH-CH720N excels in this department. The over-ear design provides a snug fit that is comfortable even during extended listening sessions. The adjustable headband and cushioned ear cups contribute to a secure and cozy fit, allowing users to enjoy their music without discomfort. One of the standout features of the WH-CH720N is its active noise cancellation (ANC) technology. The headphones effectively block out ambient noise, immersing the listener in their music or audio content. Whether you're in a noisy office or commuting on a bustling train, the ANC feature helps create a more enjoyable and focused listening experience. The audio quality of the WH-CH720N is commendable. The headphones deliver a clear and balanced sound profile, with well-defined bass, detailed midrange, and crisp highs. The soundstage is surprisingly spacious, allowing for a more immersive listening experience. While the audio performance might not match that of higher-end models, it remains impressive given the price range of the WH-CH720N. Sony has also included some convenient features that enhance the overall user experience. The built-in microphone enables hands-free calling, and the controls on the ear cups allow for easy playback control and volume adjustment. The headphones also have a commendable battery life, providing up to 35 hours of playback on a single charge, which is perfect for long trips or extended use without worrying about recharging. On the downside, the WH-CH720N lacks some advanced features found in more premium headphones. It does not support high-resolution audio formats and lacks customizable sound profiles. Additionally, the build quality, while generally good, leans towards a more plastic construction, which may not be as durable as some other models. In conclusion, the Sony WH-CH720N Over-Ear headphones offer an excellent balance of comfort, convenience, and audio quality at an affordable price point. Their active noise cancellation, impressive battery life, and enjoyable sound signature make them a great choice for casual listeners or commuters seeking a reliable and immersive listening experience. However, if you are an audiophile or require more advanced features, you may want to consider higher-end models. ... More

I bought these recently after reading up on Noise Cancelling headphones and for SONY and value for money, these were the ones I chose. I am VERY pleased with these. They are much lighter and extremely comfortable for an extended wear than any of my previous headphones. I initially thought that the lightness of these meant cheap and ‘waffy’ but I was wrong. Through the Sony app, you can customise your listening by equaliser adjustments or presets. Some people may enjoy playing around with that. The Noise Cancelling is very good. There is a button on the right headphone to switch it on and off, which will extend the time between charges, but I still get many days of battery life even with heavy use and NC on. Exceptional! The NC doesn’t wipe out all sound as I had read previous reviews of people complaining that they could still hear with the NC on but it does, quite substantially, tone down any background noise. This does make for a cleaner listening experience and I have no complaints at all about the NC capabilities of something at this price point. Again, exceptional! I use these headphones for listening to music, audiobooks and Netflix. So I cannot comment on their capabilities in group calls or gaming situations. But for general use, a good named brand and in a fairly affordable price range, you can’t go wrong with these. 👍🏼 ... More

I am unbelievably happy with this purchase. As someone who deliberates for weeks over purchasing anything over the price of a coffee, I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money I have experienced with these headphones. These are without a doubt the best purchase I have made in a long time. Sound quality is ace. At 50% volume I am surrounded by a wall of sound with crisp highs and deep lows. The wear is comfortable for extended periods of time. As my first time with the noise cancelling experience I can say that I honestly could not have asked for more. It’s outstanding! I have even found myself walking around the house with the noise cancelling on just to dampen the sounds of life for a few moments of solitude to get my thoughts straight for the day. 10/10 Would buy again. ... While these are a quality pair of headphones and sounded great through my iPhone, I purchased these exclusively to connect to my Samsung Q60 TV using Bluetooth. Alas they would not connect and nor would my sons Sony headphones. It appears that it may be that the headphones have version 5.2. My previous headphones had version 5.0 and worked fine on my TV. So check the Bluetooth version of the device you are connecting to before purchasing. I took these back and bought a set of JBL Live 660NC which connect fine to my Samsung Q60 TV.

Probably good for music and radio but out of sync with video. Not the fault of headphones but common Blutooth trait. I could still hear background noise with NFC turned on but when turned off the outside sound seemed amplified and for this reason I returned. They did seem to have too much bass but could maybe of been corrected in software settings. Argos were good though, understood and accepted them back. I will do more research and definatley buy from Argos again in the future.

These headphones have a good secure fit around the ears, charge for Bluetooth lasts much longer than my Sennheiser headphones and also fit better too! Sound quality not quite as good as my Sennheiser but not by much. Overall good value for money. They're budget Bluetooth headphones. I bought to use in the gym unwired and they are definitely good for that! Nice feature with the EQ/sound app. Good noise cancellation. Great secure fit while also good for long wear, didn't get any pain wearing them for long periods. Good volume range. Overall very happy with these and glad I didn't spend hundreds of pounds (not that I have hundreds anyway lol! :D). ... More

The reason for my choice of these over ear headphones is that I wear glasses and my previous on ear headphones really hurt my ears digging my glasses into my head. These are so comfortable over my glasses. Would totally recommend these. Easy to connect via Bluetooth. The sound quality is great, I purchased these mainly for listening to audiobooks. I recently used these on a flight and the noise cancelling on the plane was quite impressive. For the price these are perfect.

Wasn’t expecting too much from these but they exceeded that by a long margin. They are light, comfortable over ear fit, noise cancellation is really good. Sound quality is good. Great for hands free phone calls, clear audio both ways. Battery life is way better than my other Bose Qc35 ll. They fold flat so you could easily find some sort of hard case to fit them. USBC charge port so easy to charge. These headphones tick all the boxes for a great set of noise cancelling quality headphones at a great price.

I bought this a couple weeks ago and it didn’t disappoint me whatsoever. Sound quality at its finest and very comfortable when worn at long hours. A bit plasticky in a sense that might break if stretched fully but not an issue for me, especially if really careful with your stuff. It connects quickly to my two devices at the same time and automatically connects to the other one if for example previously connected to your other device. Lightweight as well. Overall great headphones, highly recommended.

I bought these around a month ago and have been really enjoying them. The sound quality is good and definetly noise cancelling works. However the adaptive sound feature can sometimes feel like I am deep under water. Also, the headphones are not foldable so can be hard to store in a discreet way. Apart from this really good purchase!

The headphones are great, and the sound quality is excellent for the price. The two downsides I have found are the reduced noise cancelling capacity, as well as the fact that they don't completely fold. Other than that, these headphones are great; I've used them nearly every day for 2 months now and have only charged them once. Microphone call quality is also great. I would definitely recommend these.

Noise cancelling good, sound good. First time I've tried over ear having previously having used buds. I do fine them slightly uncomfortable after a time especially if I'm wearing glasses. Also I become aware of my ears getting warmer & for someone who prefers a cool temp to a hot one over time this too becomes uncomfortable. Great earphones if you want to shut out the world however next time I'm going back to ear buds

These headphones are excellent for the price . They are light and comfortable even for longer listening. The sound is very good and loud at a lower volume than other headphones . The noise cancelling is good . I've not been able to connect to my television via the low latency Bluetooth receiver/transmitter . This works fine for other headphones I have . The sound may be a little muddy for some and there's some sibilence but overall very good .

Bought these for $148 and I'm very happy with them. Easy to connect, easy to use, and the Sony app is also easy to use. Noise cancelling works great, and they sound good too. I recently used these on a few international flights and was very happy with comfort, battery holding a charge, the sound and ability to make a noisy airplane quiet. They are also suprisingly light weight, which is nice.

I bought these because the hinge broke on my Sony WH1000XM4 headphones. These were a lower priced pair and I am still pleased with them. Although they don't quite match up with the more expensive model they do hold up very well being comfortable with decent noise cancelling. Just for information I usually use them in a home or work environment so haven't tested them while travelling.

My eldest had some £300 ones that my youngest was using. Eldest took expensive ones so I replaced them with these. Was worried that they wouldnt be as good but they are, especially for the price. Happy 14 year old!

To be honest, I think they're great headphones for the price I paid for them (were on sale for £80). The active noise cancellation is very convenient for shutting out the family voices when I'm trying to study. They're also great in terms of use for watching videos, movies, etc. the sound quality is good and no complaints from me 👍👍.

As a producer, I'm satisfied with the audio quality. The design of the headphones are modern and stylish. However there may be one issue, perhaps a bug. Sometimes, in the middle of my music, the headphones disconnect and reconnect after a few seconds. This happens randomly. I've seen multiple forums of people with the same issue but issue still hasn't seem to be resolved by Sony.
