I’ve been using these headphones for about a month now so I feel I can give an honest and fair opinion of how good they are. After much research and trawling through reviews of various ANC headphones I went for the Sony WH1000xm3’s. I’m so I glad I did. Class leading noise cancellation, amazing sound quality and feature rich, to me these are worth every penny. If your looking for a new premium quality pair of headphones , I would highly recommend these. Absolutely brilliant.

Having previously owned both the Bose QC35’s and AirPod Pros these are leaps and bounds away from the Sony’s. The noise cancelling is the best on the market and you are able to adapt the ambient pressure for flights etc too. The Sony app which is free to download allows you to completely customise the equaliser too. They are super comfortable to wear and have a very premium feel. And to top it all off the battery lasts for 30 hours on a single charge. You will not better these.

Sound quality, battery and app great. Comfy. Touch controls super convenient. Bluetooth pairing easy. The app gives heaps of control and even equalizer good. Bottom line is if you travel a lot or in noisy environments and want a pair of bluetooth headphones with great audio quality, these won't disappoint, although they are expensive. If you don't travel much or not that fussed about audio quality, you could consider a cheaper non-main brand pair of noise cancellers.

Long battery, great design and superb sound quality that is detailed and packs heavy bass without being over bearing with the best noise cancellation i have ever used with headphones. I had the bose soundlink 2 wireless before these and the senheisser momentum 2 wireless and the sony's are vastly superior to them both almost making them sound dull in comparison and any other headphone i have used for that matter.

I did a lot of research before deciding which headphones to choose, and most reviews pointed me toward the Sony WH-1000XM3. You just will not be disappointed with these cans because they are incredible. They are comfortable, lightweight, quick charging AND they last at least 24 hours on one charge, the noise cancelling is mind blowing and of course the sound quality is sublime. I’ve compared these with the Bose QC35 II and I prefer these, although the Bose are *slightly* comfier.

Bob on and well worth the money. Highs, mids and lows present with good clarity and no bass flutter that I've noticed. The swipe features are a bit awkward at first but ok in general. Top notch noise cancelling. Cupping the right ear cup to allow ambient sound in is great when in a shop or for a quick chat on the street. Unless you need something really high end for work or whatever the casual user might not notice the difference to the next big step up. Basically, Beats=grim. These=tidy

I was in the market for premium headphones and these are the best ones, the noise cancelling is amazing the rattling train is now completely silent which blew me away, the sound is great, the balance is perfect, the bass isn't too high or low and it's the best I've heard songs sound ever. They are extremely comfortable and I can wear them for hours, I've used these on various long train journeys and the battery has barely dipped before 80%. I would recommend these to anyone, they are great

It took a long time for me to jump into this end of the market, I had been reading a lot of reviews in a lot of tech magazines they were winning a lot of fans and I decided to spend my hard earned and took the plunge. I am so glad I did, the sound quality is excellent and the battery life is remarkable, I got a full train journey to London and back and they were still at 60% charge and were still comfortable to wear I recommended them to my best friend and he is also very pleased.

Bought these based on an excellent review elsewhere. Loving the quality of the noise cancelling and audio quality. Not so keen on the "required" use of a smartphone app to handle the pairing in configuration but it's possible to pair with other devices (documentation for this isn't included in the box). Touch controls are quite handy, though "next track" doesn't work for me all the time. The headphones are quite bulky in use, and the headband is a LOT bigger than I expected.

Splashed out on these headphones in advance of extended working from home and they work a treat. Noise cancelling is very good, and sound quality is excellent. Premium look and feel as well. Downsides are slight discomfort after long time wearing with glasses, and the companion app provided isn't that intuitive. But I think worth the money.

Got this as it came highly recommended but was a bit disappointed because it lacked the lows and terrific pump you get out of beats. It’s a pricy headphone and should tick all the boxes but it unfortunately does not. The mids and highs come with great clarity, but poor lows and poor volume limit. Was also uncomfortable after a lengthy wear. Argos refused to take back as I have broken seal which was disappointing as I have barley l used product. Looking to resell at a loss.

These are expensive, but the performance is excellent. Certainly the best noise cancelling headphones I have ever used. They have been brilliant. I had one experience of a crackling static sound (bluetooth interferance perhaps) Occassionally certain external sounds are heard, but for the most part they are exceptional at blocking out background noise when in the home (for me that is road traffic, neighbouring flats, washing machine, etc) Expensive, but I am pleased with them as a purchase

Sony WH1000Xm3 headphones are phenomenal. Easy to use, comfortable and much lighter than I was expecting, with sound quality that compares with the likes of Bose, without the 'cabin pressure' effect that some noise cancelling cans have. I can wear these for hours without any issues. Battery life is impressive, and charging is quick. These are not flashy headphones, but if you want a sleek, minimalist look with fantastic sound, these are perfect.

Excellent sound. Worth every penny. Great connection via Bluetooth. Was able to walk around the whole house whilst wearing them whilst the device stayed in the one room. Deep bass whilst not losing clarity. Clarity is amazing. Connection to Sony app was easy enough. Solid build, touch function I turned off from the app as I didn't want to use them as Ive read from other reviews it's easy to select the wrong function. Call microphone isn't that great but these are music headphones!!!

The headphones are great, I do like how they sound over the bose qc35. There is bass but it’s not overdone like with beats. I also like the noise cancelling modes. It can let through some sounds like people talking and it is really nice to have that level of configurability. The iphone app is not the greatest as far as user experience goes but it gets the job done and it hs great features. I do recommend! It’s pricey but totally worth the money.

If your in the market for a set if high quality headphones, then your looking at the right item. I managed to spend so time with the Boss QC35 II and didn't not sound no where as good as the Sony's, with superb bass. The headphones are simply amazing, sound quality, battery life, comfortability and style. I even love the touch/ swipe features. It also has an amazing app to adjust sound quality / EQ and Noise cancellation. Don't waste you money on the beats for dre or the QC35

The ANC on the headphones work superbly, the main reason I purchased them. They feel really comfortable while wearing for at least 2 hours. (The longest I have used them in one sitting). Sound is very good for headphones of this type but lose some clarity when using bluetooth. I tend to use them wired to get the best sound from them. Overall, if ANC is most important to you, get these and you won't be disappointed. If it's just music quality you are after, I would probably look elsewhere.

I bought these to replace my ageing Beoplay H6 headphones I've had since 2012, and I am not disappointed! The noise cancellation on these is phenomenal. I walk to work along a dual carriageway, and almost everything is blocked out (around 90-95% of the noise). Sound quality is amazing, especially when coupled with the fantastic active NC. Yes these are expensive, but the NC is the best I've seen, battery life is amazing, & sound quality is outstanding. Overall a highly recommended purchase.
