It's great for music and movies on a tablet, but plugged into a PS4 for gaming, it sounds like a '90's stereo headset. They're massively comfortable, although a little small, even when fully extended.

Got these for my seven year old daughter as the childrens ones were too quiet. So they are small enough for a child, and also adjustable to fit my head too. Excellent sound quality as you would expect from Sony - and also a great price!

I have a serious earache problem with using headphone. I am a lecturer and teach online. I have used different types of headphone before but no better output. Sony ZX310 Headphone is perfect. Using for last 2 months. Earpiece pads are so comfortable and cut out external noises. Another most important thing is its strong wire. Last but not leaset is the price. I strongly recommend this product to anyone who randomly uses headphone (specially for teaching) and if you are suffering from earache.

Great headphones - probably one of the best headphones that I have owned. I can listen to music or watch a movie whilst my wife sleeps. Great ear pads that stop noise leaking out. Very comfortable on the head - not too tight or too loose. I especially like the shorter lead on these headphones - no more having to bunch up the spare cable! I liked these headphones so much that I bought another pair for listening to my laptop, keeping the other pair for at my bedside. Highly recommended!

These headphones are a good size not too bulky and fit nicely over the head the headphones have a sturdy cloth type lead that doesn't tangle and the dark red colour looks nice and smart. Sound quality is very good when I watch movies and concerts on YouTube through my pc and also sound great when plugged in to my smartphone lots of good bass sound and not tinny at all all in all a very good value product and would recommend.

Needed to replace old headphones for occasional listening on my PC. Didn't require anything high end as I have studio monitor headphones for more serious listening, these Sony ZX310 were in the right price bracket/quality range for what I wanted. They are light and comfortable in use and the sound quality whilst obviously not audiophile is surprisingly good for budget headphones. Fold up nice and compact too so I'll be taking these on my travels.

Bought as a present for my wife & she loves them Practical & stylish with fantastic sound quality as you’d expect from Sony but there are a couple of drawbacks. The cable is 1.2m long as other brands tend to be 1.5m long & that 0.3m can make a big difference. Other issue is that they can get a bit uncomfortable when worn for long periods of time and can make your ears feel a bit sore but that goes after not using them for about 10-15 minutes. Overall, they’re definitely worth the money.

Good sound quality. Nice comfortable ear pads that shut out much external noise. They fold flat, hinged just above the ear pad on each side for easy storage. The cable is thick, rubberised and the 3.5 jack is L shaped. It would have been nice to build in a little rotational movement in the ear pieces so they don't press so much on the back of the ear when wearing glasses. However, the soft pads are squashy and compensate for this. Great value for money. I would definitely recommend.

The Sony headphones I bought, I've had before, so I'm aware of the standard. But this time I bought the 2 year warranty which made the total great value for money. Good decent sound, but they start to feel a little uncomfortable after 1 hour. But a decent stop gap headphones before the inevitable upgrade on the next headphone purchase.

These headphones from Sony deliver superb sound for the price. As a bass guitar player I use them to practice and they easily cope with the low bass that I play and listen to. They are comfortable and pack down easily for transport. Totally recommend this product.

Bought it for my mum, who is in a hospital and so far she is happy with them. They are not too small and not big for her, so size wise it is perfect. Also she is happy with the sound as well. I tried it myself and it was pretty good for me. The folding system is good as well... We will see for how long it will last for, really. Price wise also not bad for this type of headphones :)

Ordered because of quick delivery. My daughter broke her last ones and with so much time off school right now I needed a replacement asap for my own sanity. She likes them. Nice colour. Nice fit. And restored peace and quiet for me from her keyboard playing.

The sound on these are perfect completely adjustable for your comfort the actual ear pieces them selves are comfortable my only issue is after a while it hurts my piercing in my ear but that's to do with my piercing not the headphones. So just bare in mind if you have a scaffolding piercing it can get uncomfortable after prolonged use but I think these are great! I use mine nearly every day.

Purchased for my holiday and at the price I paid I was not expecting much, even from Sony. But these blew all negative thoughts away once I first used them. Sound quality is fantastic for such bargain priced headphones, Jack lead is a good enough length also. Bit of a light cheap plastic feel to them, but for the price your not going to get any better with the deep rich sound they produce. Comfortable enough to wear for a few hours. Highly recommended

Mr Claus had graced our presence and delivered two pairs for my two daughters. I know the headphones were robust as these things usually snap without too much trouble. The price is good although not as good as Tesco where they are £5 cheaper total £15. All in all a sound pair of headphones that don't look cheap and performance is impressive for a low budget headphone. Sounds good then go buy a pair. Now Argos enter me to the £100 review prize and let me recoup the £5 back I was overcharged.

I'm extremely pleased with these Sony headphones for the price they are very good value for the money & work very well with my MP3 player, they appear to have a good overall sound quality base, treble etc which obviously will depend on the various settings you set up on your player. They are a great improvement over the original headphones supplied with the MP3 player. The delivery was very quick & well inside the time qouted by Argos

I bought these to replace another pair of Sony headphones and while I have to turn the volume up maybe a little more than I did with my old headphones, that is by no means a complaint or an inconvenience. The bass is brilliant, which more than makes up for them being a little quieter if that would be an issue for you. The comfort is noticeable the second you put them on and they are really good at cancelling out some, although obviously not all, background noise.
