I use the headphones for my computer at work, as well my computer at home. I needed something with great sound that was light weight. I would wear headphones for hours and be uncomfortable at many points in the day, now with my MDR i really don't have that issue, especially with the deluxe pads.

I am a video editor and wears this headphone 16 hours a day. Extremely comfortable and beautiful sound. I personally prefer this, the MDR-7506 than the MDR-v700 (I have both), as it gives me a clearer, crisper sound. the base is not as solid as the other but I don't mind that.

I use for Indie Film production sound recording. Clear neutral sound. A bit smaller than my seinheiser hdr280's which I like. They are very comfortable.
