I bought these headphones for my son to use with his Teenage Engineering OP-1 synthesizer and he raved about their quality. He really liked the sound quality and was very happy with this gift.

This is the second one I have bought. I have the Sony MDR-7510 also. You can't go wrong with this one.

These headphones have been amazing so far, other than their smooth and excellent quality their ability to fold up is key when you are traveling or in the field.

Great sound, comfortable. Only thing I don't like are exposed wires going to each earpiece. Had previous model type it lasted 25 years.

Perfect to bring along with I'm shooting video interviews. They also fold up nicely for packing away with my other gear.

I use these headphones for cutting and editing audio. I work in an open area and it's great because they block out all outside sounds effectively. The playback is also flawless.

I am a video editor and wears this headphone 16 hours a day. Extremely comfortable and beautiful sound. I personally prefer this, the MDR-7506 than the MDR-v700 (I have both), as it gives me a clearer, crisper sound. the base is not as solid as the other but I don't mind that.

I've used MDR-7506s for years at work and finally bought a pair to use at home in ham radio and stereo applications. They've always held up well, provided good sound at a realistic price.

Great product. Sound is not colored. Product was used with a Canon GL2. Would recommended to others... Cuts ambient noise very well.

These headphones were recommended to me as a key part of a basic pro audio set-up. I bought them for a basic audio class and they've definitely proven better than other standard headphones I've had for hearing the full sound.

I don't know if these are the best, but they are pretty much the established pro standard. I use them in the studio and also do a lot of field monitoring where it's handy that they fold up.
