I work in a variety of areas, classical music recording, film composer and sound design for video. These headphones continue to amaze me after 7 years of using them on an almost daily basis.

I bought this item because I broke my older set by another manufacture, and boy what a huge difference this Sony makes. It shuts out all other sounds and even with very low volume one can still here the choir talking before service. Yest I would highly recommend these headphones.

Used my first set to monitor sound during editing. Got the second set to monitor sound on a PMW EX1. Professional equipment 100%. Won't let you down.

Nice headphones. They're not extremely high quality, but very good for work in the field. I would definitely suggest these to a friend.

Top of the line for the price. Tried and true, what we used in film school and what I use in production and editing. Love them.

Pros: Great sound for the price. Cons: The small wire slack that loops out just above the ear. I keep thinking I'll get my big fingers snagged in here and pull something loose.

I've used these many times as monitor headphone on a sound board. they are comfortable when wearing for a long time, block out most of the outside sounds, and deliver a very true sound.

My oldest son needed studio headphones. These fit the bill. Not quite as flat as the AT50, but work realoy well.

comfortable and good audio. the ear piece articulations are excessive and you have to unfold the headphones too much to place them.

These are very convenient folding and comfortable headphones that work well in the field for video and at the computer editing. Some folks don't like the coil but I have found it to be no problem.

THIS PRODUCT IS GREAT! WE USE IT FOR VIDEO RECORDING AND IT ENABLES US TO DO IT EFFICIENTLY BY BEING ABLE TO HEAR (AND ELIMINATE)ANY AUDIO INTERFERANCE. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

Great sound, not too tinny or to bassy, more neutral than my Bose set. 1/4 jack was faulty right out of the box. Easy to replace but annoying for a supposed high quality set of headphones.

I've been using this model for years in studios around LA. It's the standard, what else needs to be said?
