I bought this item because I broke my older set by another manufacture, and boy what a huge difference this Sony makes. It shuts out all other sounds and even with very low volume one can still here the choir talking before service. Yest I would highly recommend these headphones.

These are very convenient folding and comfortable headphones that work well in the field for video and at the computer editing. Some folks don't like the coil but I have found it to be no problem.

Great sound, not too tinny or to bassy, more neutral than my Bose set. 1/4 jack was faulty right out of the box. Easy to replace but annoying for a supposed high quality set of headphones.
