I love this camera with light weight and features, menu system needs to be improved more easy to find. Overall, I made a good decision moving from Canon 5DIV to Sony mirrorless system.

Have not been able to really work with it as I would like to. The E-mound issue kind of threw a wrench in the works a bit. I happen to own a bunch of Minolta A mount lenses so I will need an adaptor. The adapter I was sent happened to be the wrong one, so now I am waiting for the correct one. I did receive the correct adaptor and now my old lenses do work. The ones without the switch on the lens that allows them to be used either in manual mode or auto focus mode work well. The other older lenses without this feature have now become auto focus. Which I must say is not the worst development. I have an ultra wide lens that vinyettes because of the need for the adaptor but that goes away at 15 mm. So it will work, but not in its fullest capacity. I am most disapointed that the mount was changed however I do believe this will be a fantastic little camera in the long run. I am currently waiting for my manual for this lens as it has many features that the quick start manual does not cover. So I am hoping that his will be the 5 stars that I think it will be. ... More

I really did enjoy some of the new features of the camera before I sent it back to B&H. Thank you B&H for being so professional with returns! The reason I sent it back is due to the lens mount. The new mount is much tighter than my A7RII that I have been using since Dec 15. My favorite lens is the Sony-Zeiss 35f2.8 (for size purposes), and I was seriously concerned that I would damage the connections on my lens or the camera or both if I continued using the camera. The Alpha A7Riii camera is a piece of art. I used Nikon 300, 700 and 810 then Fuji X-T2 know A7riii..together with Zeiss primes and I can't be happier with the results...

We were shooting an event for 2 hours. After 1:30 the camera turn off because too hot. We waited 10 minutes before it turned on again. Fortunately, we had other 4 cameras.

Unfortunately my camera developed a crack near the hot shoe after about 2 years. This camera has never been dropped or abused. Takes great pictures but the body is not up to the standards of Canon and Nikon. I contacted Sony but after 2 years I am out of luck.......

Estoy impresionado con las altas caractersticas y excelente desempeo de mi a7R III, provengo de CANON y estoy muy satisfecho del cambio. las cosas que ms me gustan son el rango dinmico, la resolucin, el enfoque de ojo, la duracin de la batera, tamao y peso. Aun tengo poco tiempo de usarla pero conforme pasan los das me encanta ms y ms. La recomiendo totalmente.
