I started as a photographer in the 80s and this is the best camera I've ever used. Next level.

Excellent camera. Smaller than comparable Nikon and Cannon offerings which was important to me. Picture quality is outstanding. Lens is fairly large but not cumbersome.

Long-time Canon user here. Made the switch. Still getting used to menu navigation and button layout but I am extremely impressed with the resolution and dynamic range compared to my 5Dmiv.

I had the a7iii and did not like the jpegs at all. With the a7Riii, SOTC pics are usable as is and can be enhanced to taste with pixels to spare. Much better camera.

Coming from the a6500 which is also a great camera, I love the placement of the buttons much better. Feels more natural.

I have the Sony A7S II and used to shoot videos and sometime photo due to limited MB but this is exactly what I've been waiting for! The G Master 24-70mm with this camera is the perfect combo not to mention that Z battery lasted for the whole day of shooting Photos & videos. I would have to say that this is with no doubt the best purchase I've done in a while and I can't wait for A7S III.

Since 1983 I have owned and used different brands of film cameras ( Yashica, Nikkormat, Minolta, Praktica, Zenit, Canon ), and digital ( Nikon, Canon, Sony),and this Sony At R III is the best with fantastic features to support your creativity in taking pictures. The build is solid, the image quality is the best. I am very satisfied with it. Excellent job Sony !

I was note sure whether to keep Sony a7R 3 or Nikon D 850, after testing a few weeks these two camera I found out that Sony's color and white balance don't look natural, color is more artificial and high dynamic range is very weak (not professional). So I decided to keep D850 which is definitely better camera for any type of photography, Nikon's color and HDR are amazing .
