Amazing quality interface by the legends over at SSL! I feel like John Lennon back at Abbey Road studios when I record with this piece! But seriously it's that classic SSL look, feel and most importantly sound that makes this really the best interface in it even near and above this price point! Thanks so much to the kind folks @ B&H for taking care of me and shipping my SSL2 so fast!!!

Great sounding interface. The mix knob is great to dial in direct vs DAW sound. The 4K button is a bit over the top for me. It has enough gain on tap to drive an SM7B without any audible noise. And headphone amps work great on higher impedance cans .

For the price you can't beat the quality of this interface. The pre-amps are fantastic, the build quality is decent, although not as high as other like Apollo but that's to be expected, and it just works all the time. No additional software is needed and the included SSL plugins are great!

these sound at least as good as my old Apogee Duet FireWire, are more versatile, and less expensive than any of their competitors. HIGHLY recommend SSL's 4K setting is especially to be recommended for folks whose other equipment (like mics) are not as groovy as they'd like

I am getting great use out of the interface: tracking guitars, bass, analog synths and vocals. The 4k button adds a noticeable character to all of the above. The best bus powered interface I've come across yet.

I sold my Apollo Twin after A/B testing the conversion quality and they are equal, however, the SSL 4K button is magical! It adds presence and sparkle that the Apollo lacks and at a third of the price. Add to it dual headphones with separate controls and Midi? It's a bargain!

I researched many audio interfaces and the SSL2+ was the superior choice. I'm not only entirely satisfied with this device, due to the solid construction and feel, but I love how it is slightly angled for use on my desk. The setup was a breeze and I had no issues.

I received my SSL 2+ really fast. I'm using it for mixing and mastering and I love it. It has a lot of gain, it's very clean. The big volume knob is very linear. I highly recommend it!
