I bought this having previously had the Hesh 3 for almost 4 years. I was a little nervous about the price range for this headset, but with the quality of the previous version I was hopeful that it would be worth it to upgrade. Unfortunately, from the get go I found that I was having issues. The noise cancelling is fine, but to be perfectly honest a lot of sound makes it through regardless of if ANC is turned on or not. The microphone is absolutely terrible, no matter what device the headset is connected to or what program I'm using to call. Even then, I could somewhat understand as, realistically, if you're getting a skullcandy headset you're more interested in how it sounds, rather than its properties as a gaming / call device. On the "how it sounds" front, I was also somewhat underwhelmed. Again, like the noise cancelling aspect, it's fine but it's absolutely not blowing my mind. The connection drops at random sometimes, and I have to switch the headset off and back on again to re-connect it. Not ideal, but not a huge deal. After maybe a day of use, I started hearing distracting crackles and pops in the headset present whenever ANC was turned on, and after researching the model for fixes, as well as reaching out to skullcandy themselves I learned that both this and the microphone issue are both long standing, known, and as of yet unfixed issues. So after almost a month of trying to deal with / fix these issues, I'm left with an underwhelming sounding headset, with an ANC feature that cannot be used without causing loud pops every 2-3 seconds, an almost non functioning microphone, for much too high a price. This has genuinely been one of the biggest wastes of money I have ever had the displeasure of owning, I would absolutely avoid and / or spend your money elsewhere. With all that said, the battery life is pretty great, and it does charge up quickly. It's also reasonably comfortable. I just wish that made up for the host of issues this headset has. ... More

Originally I wanted to get the crusher evo headphones but they were out of stock but these are still amazing for the price. This no faults in the audio and the music sounds really high quality the only problem with the headphones is that they’re not supported by the app to alter the settings of the bass and other settings but the bass on them are really good anyway, the only difference I can find between the crusher evo ones and these is that bass can be altered on the headphones and that their supported on the app on the crusher evo pair but the skull candy hesh anc are definitely worth the money!. ... The ANC is very impressive, have been beside very loud noises with no disruption, can switch to ambient for when you would like to be aware of background noise. Sound quality very good. Very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. The bluetooth has a good range and connects automatically once setup. charge lasts really long and the quick 10 min for 3hour charge is a lovely feature for days you forget to plug the charger in! Comes with a dust bag with soft lining and pockets for charger.

I have never bought expansive headphones so I can't compare with such devices but as for budget headphones these are the best I have ever had. The sound is clear with deep bass and good highs and mids. Since these are my first headphones with ANC I can't tell too much about this feature as I can't really compare with other headphones. It does reduce the background noise significantly when there is no sound coming from them, still you can still here it. However if you listen to loud music it does not make much difference as the loud music covers the background noise anyway. The ANC is more useful when you are talking with someone over the headphones and there is a lot of background noise. The ambient sound feature nonetheless is nice. I strongly recommend this product for this price. ... More

I bought a pair of these as a gift for someone else, and after trying them I immediately ordered a pair for myself and other family members to use. They have a very comfortable fit and have a clear, full sound that is quite surprising even when used with small MP3/iPod devices. An inexpensive adapter is needed to control volume & other functions when using iPod devices. I would have preferred a set without the graphics, but there is still a wide selection of designs & colors to choose from, and they came with a nice carry bag.

The positives: quick charge, and decent enough audio quality. The negatives: at any moderate noise level, e.g. on the train, a clicking noise appears every 2-3 seconds when ANC is turned on. If you search for skullcandy clicking noise, you'll see it is a recurring issue with these headphones. The clicking noise sounds like someone is quietly snapping their fingers inside your ear, which is extremely distracting and ruins the music experience. Also, when walking even in a gentle breeze, the headphones amplify the wind noise so it sounds like you are walking in a loud storm, which I have not come across with other headphones or earbuds. ... Very light weight & eloquently designed for complete comfort even after prolonged use. Sound quality is excellent with superb Bass which goes deep. ANC works well to cut ambient noise. Control buttons are easily accessible for mixed usage whether you need to turn on ANC while calling or turning on/off Ambient mode while listening to music or watching movie. Tested with different devices, long battery life, foldable with carry pouch. 3.5mm wired connectivity is for additional use. Full Marks!

I've had these a month and loved them from day 1. Connected easily, very comfortable and light and the sound quality is super. Really good bass and the noise cancelling works very well. I'm no music expert, but for me, the sound is crisp and clear. Bass on dance type tracks is deep, it's like a party in my head. The controls are easy to use just by touch too. Phone calls connect easily with good sound. I wear them for walk to work, so I've been rained on. Also at gym, sweat wiped off OK.

5* for sound quality which is excellent, the bass is also fantastic. 4* for build quality, most is great but some parts feel cheap like the frame of the ear pieces 5* for comfort feel great, very comfortable Noise cancelling is great in general but doesn't work as well when walking outside and used in the wind where they make a tinny sound. Set up is very intuitive and I didn't need to look at any instructions to complete set up and have them paired with my device.

Got these to watch tv with( must have a Bluetooth tv to do this wirelessly) easily connects to tv also with my iPhone. Charge lasts a while, only charged it once so far. Noise reduction works fairly well for the price of the headphones. You can still hear quite loud noises, but most are very low or non-existent. Sound quality is pretty good with a nice bit of bass. Fold up nice and come with a soft bag to put them in.

Could hardly believe these were headphones when I got them. They fold up compact into a handy bag small enough to fit into my handbag. Slim line and stylish design for anyone to wear. I stood next to my washing machine and honestly could not believe the difference when I switched on the noise cancelling mode, it was Crystal clear sound and so easy to toggle on and off. Bluetooth is amazing - left my phone downstairs and was still able to get brilliant sound all around the house. Love these

These headphones are very comfy on the ears and can be made bigger to fit your head. Easy to charge there is a light to indicate when charging has finished. Sound is great, ANC doesn't drown out all sound but it does do a good job, I could still hear TV slightly in background when volume was on highest. Phone calls are clear, person I phoned said it was a little echoy and fuzzy but they could understand what I was saying. Folds easily and great pouch with it aswell for travelling. Easy to carry.

Thought of trying these for the gym and I now use these with every opportunity. If you like music with loud bass or want to hear the volumes without surrounding sounds interrupting I definitely recommend. There is a switch for noise cancelling and also has an audio cable port for gaming or other wired activities. Easy to charge and last a while. Very decent pair of headphones. Price is worth it

I upgraded my headphones from the Skullcandy Venue headphones to the Skullcandy Hesh, and I am not disappointed! Super easy to pair, really good noise cancelling, crisp sound, plus they feel a lot more robust than the Venue (which took a battering at the hands of my 4 year old). Only slight gripe is they don't come with Tile like the Venue (which was handy if you misplaced them) but a really good option compared to other premium headphones

The Skull Candy earphones are great their perfect for music on the go and wanting to escape the world. The noise cancelation is good as the headphones cover all your ear unlike some wireless earbuds where they can't stop all sound. the battery life is quite good and the rapid charge feature is amazing I tried it myself and 10 minutes fo charge really does give you a decent run time so if your in a rush I would 100% recommend.

The headphones have great sound and comfortable to wear , they are very easy to connect to your devices as all you do is open the Bluetooth setting on your device click on the headphones in the Bluetooth page and the voice in the headphones tell you they are connected.
