It's an SM58 - if you don't have at least one, your kit is not complete. I prefer the switched version since a quick flip of the protector plate can fix the switch in the "on" position.

I got my first SM58 over 30 years ago, and it's still a workhorse. The stand and cable that came with the kit are perfectly fine.
