Gives a new lease of life to my acoustic guitar playing. The sound is so crisp and clear. I should have bought one years ago.

I had a $13 microphone before this one (I bought the cheapest one I could find), but the difference between the two is astonishing. This is a really good microphone.

After buying this mic, I am so satisfied with my guitar recordings, especially for distorted/dirty tones. Great mic, the go-to, industry standard for getting the full range of your guitar sound.

I've recorded entire albums using only SM57s. Recording guitar? SM57. Recording drums? SM57s. Recording vocals? Why not...SM57!

Hahaha I got this at a great price before you did. Clear as a bell vocals when I opened the box to test. Now it lives inside my snare drum.

It has always been a workhorse in audio. Of course you can purchase higher end specific misc, but the SM57 can be used anywhere from micing vocals to guitars to drums and sounds fine.

Got this product 2-years ago for Christmas. Just opened the box to set up Home Studio (finally). The mic stand included in this package is cheap, flimsy and came with stripped-out aluminum threads - won't hold microphone. Had it two years, not knowing they sent a USED piece of gear that someone else jacked-up before it was sent to me. I'm not even attempting to return something that was purchased that long ago. Also, within the poorly packaged products, due to banging around on shipment, several of the plastic cord clips were snapped in half on arrival. No matter the amount of money I've spent over the years, both in the store and online, nobody there knows my name. In the 90s, I knew all the Drum Department; now, nobody seems to care. ... More

I use this product to record the sounds coming from my guitar amp. I didn't expect THIS much quality on the microphone. It really is an amazing microphone and I can't wait to use it more often.
