I am an intermediate metal vocalist and this microphone works great for this. It sounds clear, its cheap, and its overall a good microphone. I have dropped it before, and the only damage was a dent on the grille, so its also a durable microphone.

I purchased this mic to replace an older Crate Hi-Z mic. It works as it should, well constructed, and came with case & cord. I use a Hi-Z mic occasionally and this one will fit the job perfectly.

I'm an instrumentalist, and needed a basic mic with an on/off switch for announcing between songs. This is just what I needed, and the price is reasonable. The sound is okay, but the switch feels cheap. I hope I am wrong, and that the switch will hold up for a long time. I guess time will tell!

I never did much sound recording in the past, so I had to buy a microphone. My brother is a singer and always raved about Shure. I went with a low cost unpowered unit, which with an adapter, works great with my Nikon D5500.

Can't beat the price, the microphone itself is almost what GC charges for the whole kit.

The sound quality is great! I love the on off switch. It does make a little bit of noise when turning it on or off, but it's not that loud. It's similar to handling or ruffling noise.

We're doing a singing workshop remotely, so I needed a mic. The B&H rep suggested this one & its a good choice.

We had a old mic that was dropped and needed to be replaced at our church and this worked well for that. It's better than the old Radio Shack mic it replaced.
