I usually give this to the priest when DJing weddings. Our previous Shure lapel had a wide pickup pattern and caused frequent feedback. I use the same receiver but with this headset mic. I wish I had discovered it before. It prevents feedback very well. Note that the audio will be slightly muffled once you put on the pop-filter. But that's to be expected. So, just use your EQ on your mixer to sharpen it up a bit. I still haven't figured out how to wear the headset but the priests seem to have no problem figuring it out. LOL.

I believe that they should either SHOW or MENTION what type of connection this headset and ALL of their products have. I needed this exact headset with a 1/4" XLR and they sent me one with the 4pin plug in. They didn't mention nor did the website mention what kind of connection it had. I told them the model of what I had and even gave them the model number. They knew I needed a 1/4" XLR so either THEY didn't know themselves that this had a 4pin plug in or they just missed the mark.

I just received the Shure PGA31 and to my surprised I got only the headset. I needed this headset to teach dance classes online but nowhere in the Guitar Center website said that this needs additional equipment. I admit I am not experienced in instruments or music. More of the reason for the Guitar Center to specify that this headset requires a transmitter and better yet it does not include it. . In other words, it is useless the way is shipped. I will recommend this product only because I know how good Shure is but whoever buys this make sure you get the receiver. Unfortunately I will have to return this product since the transmitter seems to cost almost $300. I bought this product because it was affordable and now it turns to be prohibitive. This is an example of false or incomplete advertisement. I do appreciate the promptness of the delivery particularly in these times but unfortunately I'll have to reach out for an alternative solution. ... More

I have a Shure wireless system but it only has a lavalier mic, which I find unusable for my needs. This mic is amazing quality for the price. It has great clarity, maintains it's position without any undue pressure, and is almost immune to feedback. Can't ask for more than that.

This was a replacement for the microphone that came with the body pack mic set. Arrived early, well packaged. It was exactly what was expected and like all Shure gear appears to be pretty well made and was easy to install. Reasonable price and easy to find on the web site.

It's been a good mic....no complaints with the sound quality. Only issue is the connection to the transmitter. The wire breaks very easily

Sounds great. Lightweight. Stays put. Let's me move around. Only complaint is that the foam windscreens wear out from fooling with it during gigs. Found a 12 pack of new foam windscreens for cheap. I loved it so much I bought the more expensive, durable version the PGA. I prefer the cheaper one. Sounds just as good and is more comfortable.

The Shure name stands true on this product even though the price is not unrealistic. I would highly advise this. I have bought these to use them as backup microphones if one goes down. I have had to replace the microphone on my system and used one of these. You would not know the difference because the sound quality is excellent.

After years of outdoors and on-water use, the old headset developed a short, lost its two wind guards and was due for a replacement. We bought the system @ B&H, so it only made sense to go there for the replacement - which seems like its been upgraded. Was the same price as buying directly from Shure - but w/ free shipping. Can't beat it.

The original headset had gotten a kink in it since I bought it three years ago. We do a lot of shows every year and it lasted an acceptable amount of time before it had to be replaced. The replacement arrived quickly and works as well as the original one did.

I used 3 of these in a high school play, they sounded great. I did not have to mess with the eq alot. Every once in a while they would make a low thump. You can get it to go away mostly by dropping out the lows on the mics.

I purchased two of these to use at Church Service. Using this with a Shure Belt Pack system. Really good results with speech and singing. Good quality product at a very reasonable price.

I bought it for kids' school musical of Shrek. Great mics, there are two ways to wear them which is awesome. Quality is great, but we were using superb Shure mic system
