What a great mic! Really spectacular for toms. A bit bulky but if your drummer doesn't mind it's the best quality for the price. Must have for any studio's microphone tool box.

tons of body, interesting character. for guitar i'd recommend pairing with a condenser and even a 57 right next to it. not much on the high end but tooooooons of body

Classic mic, with a nice round sound. Super convenient 5 position bass roll off is great for working with guitar amps and tom drums. Durable housing keeps it going long after it's been beaten to hell!

I've used it for vocals and on my snare and as an impromptu solo room mic. I think I prefer it over the SM57 for now. All in all a nice mic to have around the studio ready to go

I've use this mic frequently for toms and vocals, it's perfect. It also has a few stages of roll off to adapt for what you need. I have two already, looking for more.
