Nothing mind blowing about them, but they work great. Replaced an old Sennheiser pair which had the felt on them which just deteriorated rapidly. These are nice and leather and will hopefully last a while.

The Sennhiser HD 280 Pro headphone are a great flat frequency response and sensitive response headphone great for recording and mixing. They are closed back and have a good sound isolation. But being closed back they are uncomfortable after a while (sweaty ears).

I got these for my son for Christmas. He uses them for recording. He loves them! I still use Sennheiser HD414 headphones that are over 30 years old. I knew I couldn't go wrong with the Sennheiser brand. Great buy for the price.

Picked these up for my wife. She likes to listen to music while relaxing/meditating or if wakes up in the middle of the night. She has been very happy with them. They are very comfortable, great noise rejection and very clear sound. Perfect match for what she was looking for.

I am heavily into listeing classical music (European and Indian). The sound is extreley clear and very very crispy. The bass sound is of pretty high quality, but not overwhelming. And it is not a gaming headphone, its for serious music. I am happy that I got it.

These headphones are very comfortable to use for extended periods of time. They sound great monitoring a wide variety of musical genres. Isolation is superb with virtually no bleed-through during overdubs. B&H service and pricing are second to none. I highly recommend the HD-280 Pro's and B&H!

I bought these headphones for my son who is majoring in broadcasting/communications. He is also a gamer. He absolutely loves these headphones. They are comfortable and incredibly clear. The noise canceling is effective as well. ( He doesn't hear me when I call)

I manage a speech-language lab and we use these headphones for transcribing videos. They are high-quality phones that I wish I could afford for personal use. They do weigh on the top of my head after 2+ hours of use, but my ears are always comfortable.

The sound is very good for a $ headphone and it is backed by the fact that pros actually use it. The problem was that it was really too tight on my head and I had to send it back and replace them with the HD380. Made in Ireland.

perfect for studio tracking, great isolation and faithful sound reproduction across all frequencies, comfortable for fairly long periods of use. couldn't be happier with product and price. Highly recommended.

When the earpads wore out, I bought a genuine Sennheiser replacement pair, and found them totally impossible to put on. (other folks comments re the videos showing replacement procedure also reflected widespread frustration.) I wound up trashing the headset and buying a different brand.

I use this product for my general amusement and it exceeds all of my expectations. Although the sound can't compare to 300$+ headphones, these headphones are a must-buy for anyone looking for an introductory pair of studio headphones.

They were on special and I decided to try them. Good sound isolation, but base is not as strong and high end more muffled as compared to the Sony 7506. At least that is what my ears hear. Your mileage may vary.

I use these to monitor dialogue and VO. I'm not an audio technician and can't speak on the specifics but I can say that the audio quality is great and the headphones are super isolating and comfortable.

Great closed back headphones. Fairly linear, good separation. Mine required burn-in. Ignore comments about shoddy construction unless you plan to sit on 'em. From just listening all the way to mixing, they should get the job done for you.

I buy a set of these headphones every 5years. They sound good and feel good.

It's the second time I buy those headphones, and they are still the best deal around. The only reason I broke the previous pair is because of my negligence... B&H had the best deal for these, ...as I was in the middle of a project, needing my headphones desperately.

I picked these up to practice Bass Guitar at home and not disturbe the wife and newborns (yeah Twins). They sound fantastic and are great at producing the lows of the bass.

Great sound quality, but not very well made. One of the ear pads came off first day I had it. Luckily, I was able to reattach it.
