I use it for school, and at home for when I am using programs such as Pro Tools, Logic Audio, FL Studio. The Sennheiser HD 280's are comfortable, not heavy, great for mixing, and highly recommended for musical work.

This is my third pair over the past 10-15 years. Great ambient sound isolation! Also, really good bass for not being the trendy headphones everybody on TV wears. Just basic black and awesome sound!

I use this product for my general amusement and it exceeds all of my expectations. Although the sound can't compare to 300$+ headphones, these headphones are a must-buy for anyone looking for an introductory pair of studio headphones.

Not the most comfortable for long periods, but great isolation. I use them for field recording and studio tracking. For the former, they fold up really well, making the kit a little easier to haul around.

I purchased these headphones for use with the church soundboard and adjusting the auxilliary output for live streaming. They do an excellent job of isolating the aux output from the ambient room sound, giving a much better balance for streaming. And at a very reasonable price.

These Sennheiser HD 280 Pro headphones were recommended by a friend who does lots of studio work. They sound great, seem to be built to last, and are comfortable to wear. What more do you want? rcarbaugh

They were on special and I decided to try them. Good sound isolation, but base is not as strong and high end more muffled as compared to the Sony 7506. At least that is what my ears hear. Your mileage may vary.

I thought the Sennheiser HD 201 was good until I bought this. I guess the grass is greener on the other side, much greener.

These headphones are very comfortable to use for extended periods of time. They sound great monitoring a wide variety of musical genres. Isolation is superb with virtually no bleed-through during overdubs. B&H service and pricing are second to none. I highly recommend the HD-280 Pro's and B&H!

I manage a speech-language lab and we use these headphones for transcribing videos. They are high-quality phones that I wish I could afford for personal use. They do weigh on the top of my head after 2+ hours of use, but my ears are always comfortable.

The sound is good quality. It keeps noise away. It is confortable tough it is getting warm after awhile, which is normal for these kinds of headphone. I use it every in the bus and everywhere I am going.

I bought these a dozen years ago and used them so much, they finally broke after about the 30th drop from head height. I tried others but never found any as good as these.

I'm extremely happy with my purchase. I use these for voice-overs in my homemade studio. Very comfortable, blocks out other noises besides the audio that my microphone is picking up, and overall just a great value

I bought a pair of these to replace an aging Bose headset I was using in my home recording studio. The chord is plenty long and allows me to move about easily. I also find the overall tone a bit warmer than what I was used to.

These sound great for the price point, excellent even freq response, great isolation. We used them as wired in ear monitors. Didn't get 5 because they can begin to hurt/be uncomfortable if used more than 45mins continuously.

Good design and comfortable. Blocks out a lot of outside noise. Has strong bass reproduction which I prefer for listening to Boom handling. Sound is pretty close to the ear and is better than my Sony set for assuring that the voice in on mic. Worth it!

I need to monitor sound as I transfer old SVHS tapes. I actually don't wear them on my head all the time as they pump out enough quality sound with them resting beside me. Good quality, great sound and they really cancel everything else when wearing them.

I do production sound recording -- much of it in the field, in the bag. I like the sound and feel of these headphones, but they are much bulkier than their Sony equivalent (MDR). I only wish they were a little more field kit-friendly when folded in.

KCUR uses these Headphones for On-Air and for production. The Announcers' chose them. The warranty is 2 years! These are accurate enough to satisfy the users. These are our 'standard' headphones. Best for Studio use. On KCUR's talk shows, non-profesionals use these daily.
