I've had this mike for almost 7 years, I bought it shortly after I started singing. I was originally looking to buy an SM58 but this mike was very comparible and was about $25.00 cheaper. I play Bass guitar and Drums and felt I needed a good mike with a switch. Open Vocal mikes can screw with a good drum mix, and since I don't sing all the time, I can turn the mike off when I don't need it. I've used this mike as much as 5 nights a week and it has never failed to work. The quality of this mike is outstanding. The only things better I would like out of a vocal mike is a little hotter output and a little more range, but that would be a trade up to a different mike. I believe that this is the best value mike in this price range! ... More

As with all Sennheisers, this one is of the highest quality. I could do without the on/off switch just to cut out any electronics that could go on the fritz, but I am not too worried about that because this thing is built like a tank. It is hefty and sounds great. It stands up to an SM-58 easily and rejects both off-axis feedback and handling noise. I have had it for about 5 years now and have not had any problems with it in the least. The long and short of it is that I love this thing.

This mic is really a great quality mic for a low amount of money. I like the switch on the mic. We use it to announce the softball games at the high school and the switch keeps the other stuff in the booth from going over the PA. I has a great sound and is nice and heavy and well built. If I need to buy more mics for me to perform with, I will probably get one of these.

Hello,I bought this mic almost 2 years ago and for the first year had no problem, the sound was clear, nice, the body strong...but the handling noise isolation never was good...Well,the real problem appeared three months ago while I was singing on stage;suddenly, every time I turned the on/off switch,it made a terrible noise, like a blow.I did apologize to the people that was listening my _pera performing. Believe me,I'm always gentle and careful with my sound equipment,so I do not know what was the cause of the problem with my mic.
