I got these on a deal of the deal. I needed a pair for monitoring audio while shooting and these seem to do the trick. I'm not small (6'2) but they fit nicely. I've only used them for a short amount of time but the sound is very neutral (which is what I was looking for) and, for the money, they seem great value.

I like the design of the headphones, the sound is good as well. The only thing that I dont like is that they are a little small for my head. Is not comfortable for me to use them for a long period of time. Is squeezing my head too much. I wish they would be a little bigger or to have the option to adjust them. For the money that I payed I think is a good product.

I got these because I read the good reviews. The sound is pretty meh though. The circle shape of the ear pads leave an opening in the back of my ears, so they don't get a good seal. I was willing to deal with both of these things, but the itchy ear pads pushed me to want to return them. I thought it was just me because I have sensitive skin, but even my sister thinks the ear pads are itchy. The fuzzy stuff is pokes my skin rather than being soft.

Purchased for my hard of hearing 90 year old mother in law to watch tv with. Now she can watch tv without disturbing her neighbors, yet still hear her phone and doorbell. I have used them and find the sound quality excellent.

Bought these for my nephew for Christmas. He's in a band and also records/mixes music. He hasn't used them for mixing yet, but he did listen to music with them yesterday and said they sounded great and that they were REALLY comfortable.

I recently purchased these from B&H and am comparing directly to the Philips Fidelio X2HR headphones ($145) that I usually use. The Philips headphones while having near perfect sound are heavy and not comfortable for hours of use. The Samson SR850B is considerably lighter, much more comfortable to wear, and has most of the sound performance of the Philips. No, I would not use these for professional sound mixing. For casual everyday listening, they're great.

These sound AMAZING. The fit is odd...the ear pads are round. I have quite average sized ears, but they don't fit inside the pads, creating a sore pressure point where the fabric/pads fit across the top of my ears. Gonna have to get creative, as they are now, kind of unusable

these are very articulate and detailed sounding headphones, much different from my closed-back tracking headphones. I enjoy using them, comfortable and very accurate for referencing recorded tracks (but don't use them for tracking due to the open ear bleed). terrific price and fast delivery from B&H, I may get another pair very soon.

I purchased these headphones for editing video in my home studio. I've been using them for about a month now and I'm impressed with the quality of sound at this price. I've also found them to be very comfortable, actually more comfortable than my more expensive set I use at the office. No real complaints here, it's exactly what was looking for. Happy customer.

I love them - easy on the ears and great sound, especially consideri ng the cost. Would do it again ! No problems on installation on a Dell Windows 10 desktop computer.

So much value for the price. Very comfortable and they sound really good. I let a buddy borrow them who's a DJ and he liked them. Between the price and the frequency response I figured they were worth a try. Glad I did. They won't be as flashy as my old AKG headphones but I don't care.

I recently bought a different brand and wasn't pleased at all but with the Samson SR850B I'm loving everything about it. The weight, the comfort but especially the sound. In fact I went into my wife office so she could check it out and she loved them as well. I'm only sorry I didn't get two. Don't sleep these headphones.

These are good for home or studio, I would not use them for travel as they are open back and everyone can hear what you are listening to. These are semi clones AKG K240's or Superlux HD681.

Unlike many others in this price range, these headphones are built strongly with flexible metal that allows the headphones to fit over your head without worrying about adjusting the size or breaking the plastic. Audio quality is good and ear covers are large enough to fit overtop even my larger sized ears.

These are excellent sounding headphones, sounding as well, if not better, than ones costing twice---or more---than what these cost. They seem to my ears to be well-balanced with an emphasis on the mid-range. The bass is fine enough. Decent soundstage, given their open-backed design. It also comes in an all black color, but I liked the blue color model more.

I don't think I'd want to do any mixing or mastering with these things, but I don't believe that's the intention here. For simple playback of a recording or just listening to some music,...these are great and well worth the asking price, me thinks.

Sound quality is quite good for the price. And the construction isn't bad. They look like AKG's but are not made with the same kind of quality materials, but that's OK - they are much less expensive, sound decent and are comfortable to wear.
