Don't try to power externally

I've been using the Rose Filmmaker Kit in interviews for several weeks now, using the optional XLR adapter. It's very easy to set up, provides excllent sound, and has remarkable range as well. I would prefer a metal case but so far, no difficulties.The very small lav is easy to hide.

These are great. The only confusion for those who hate to read manuals w fine print, is if you have two or more, how to change channels - but if you can read and watch U-Tube - you will figure it out. Love these - The Best.

I've used the kit on three shoots, and the audio has been superb. I'm not crazy about the size of the transmitter pack. It's rather hard to hide it on a person's body without seeing a bulge somewhere. If that's not an issue for your shoots, then I highly recommend this kit.

Great addition to my kit. Really nice sound with simple and quick syncing. I found the range to be great and the over all design sleek and professional. All the buttons and switches are easily accessible and all the information is easily read.

Before buying this kit, I always had to sync my audio to my video manually in post. This is a problem of the past now with this incredible kit from Rode. The sound quality is excellent and it's very easy to set up.

Its so much more value to you than its price, in terms of sound quality and ease of use. Its just removing the batteries that can be a bit stressful, and the build may not be so durable if subjected to frequent drops

So far, I haven't had any problems with range or audio quality. The transmitter and receiver are a little bulky - but this kit is definitely worth the money.

The audio quality is great but I dont like the idea of only having 1 transmitter connected per receiver. I usually record interviews were I have to get the audio from the interviewee and the interviewer. Now I have to connect one into my zoom external recorder and the other into my camera.
