Both TX and RX have to be in the line of sight to reach the up to 100 meters in my case, I was lucky to get up to 40 meters when the TX was attached to the belt of the talent and was no longer in line of sight. Not a good system, if you want to go beyond 40 meters.

It has a too low gain that makes the eletronic noises louder when you amplify it in post. It has a hiss, maybe because of the plugs adapters. It gets radio interference quite easy, so you are shooting and suddenly you start to listen music in background. It is too big, really dificult to hide. It looks like that can break easily, not made of good material. Rode technical assistance is disappearing. This brand will close soon.

Bad connections in the RX unit means I'm returning this for a refund and buying something else. There are a lot of promotional videos on Youtube etc but don't believe the hype.
