LOVE this device. I have it hooked up to my PC as a mixer at the moment but it has all the flexibility required to toss it into the case I purchased and record episodes from the office or at the conventions once the season comes back. Easy to use, with a low barrier to entry but high top end possibilities.

My wife started a podcast to go along with her business, and I researched easy portable setups for her to use. (she's not particularly tech savvy) This turned out to be the perfect tool for her. It's very well labeled and simple to run. Being able to record to an sd card, onto multiple tracks & having push button opening music is just perfect, simple & functional. Would definitely buy again.

Love the versatility and function of this board. Easy to get setup and going and still allows a lot of fine tuning on sound in the advanced options. Having the ability to store audio locally and then bring it down to my laptop is a great feature as well - seems to make a quick record so easy.

I absolutely love this console, it took my podcasts to the next level. I can make them easily with the built in settings and have minor tweaks to make in Audition afterward. If you are using it with an SM7B, get the CloudLifter CL-1 with it, the preamps can power the mic alone but it sounds a lot better using the CL-1.

Everything is great, except the mic stands. The Rode PodMic is just too heavy for these stands. It seems that no matter how I position them, the slightest touch or movement be and the come toppling over. If there was a way to exchange these, even if I had to pay more, I would. Otherwise, everything else is perfect.

This unit is wonderful. Easy to use and more features than I need for podcasting. It did come with the old firmware but the update was easy to install and made the sound better and included a pause feature that is very important to me. My only complaint is there are no real instructions and little about the new firmware. They need better communication for the feature and use.

This is a piece of equipment that I have to say I do not regret buying it and adding it to my studio. It had shortened my post production in my podcast to hardly nothing. It is so easy to use and it truly is a plug and play system. Add a Rode mic and the sound is amazing that it will produce.

Before getting my Rodecaster Pro I would spend approx 3 hours in post production on a 1 hour podcast, now I spend 5-15 min in post production of each and every podcast. Great machine that saves me a ton of time.
