I used this mic to record dialogue inside a small room. Got good sound from it.

Great pickup and clarity. Our church pianist is very pleased with the results. It's replacing a single SM57, with which we were fighting sufficient gain before feedback due to pianist's light playing style. BTW, using a Presonus StudioLive 24 board so it all sounds very nice now. Great service from B&H as usual.

Ive fallen in love with Rode Mics from their Podcasters, wireless units and now this mic. I use it for every video production I can because it gives me great presence. When my videos get shown on a TV or computer, theres no frustration with muddy audio or audio I have to over produce. Its clean and beautiful right out of the box.

I'm not an audio expert. I use it with a phantom power supply and a cable to my Sony A7iii. It has a nice area of sensitivity. I can move around a bit and it still gets good levels. It definitely keeps out some of the room noise and reverberation. Seems like a good value.

The Rode NT5 mics are great mics for the money! Honestly either of the Rode matched pairs, these or the M5's are great for the money. The NT5 have a bit less noise and sound very smooth. Makes the cymbals sound great and gives the kit a round 3D sound to them. Highly recommended.

I have used them 1x as a choir mic at our church. they were great. I did not need much EQ and they had great gain before feedback. And I was really excited to have a versatile pair of mics that can be used for other purposes when we don't have our choir.

These two mics have upped our setup significantly. We use for online church setup and these are great for our round table discussion and a little music. Crisp and clear sound. Very glad we made the purchase and excited to see the quality improvement of our videos.

Captures punchy percussive aspects of acoustic instruments better than the sm81. Has a bright high end without being harsh. Great for drum overheads too.

Huge value - great smooth sound- couldn't be happier for an indoor use mic. Works well outside when needing an secondary boom.
