I do a lot of voice over work for my work and i needed a dedicated mic for my sound booth. I read some reviews and took a shot on this one. I am glad i did. It sounds great. I will definitely look at ROde for future mic purchases.

Purchased this mic based on recommendation from a couple of musicians/studio guys I know. I've done trumpet and vocal tracks with the Rode and it works great for the applications I need. Price is very fair for what you get, and it's made in Australia.

This mic is very crisp and it pics up high end frequency great but low frequency not so much. If you have a deep voice go with something else.

I use it for everything from vocals and guitar to using it in mid side recording as the side mic due to its figure 8 pattern that inst too common and comes on much more expensive mics. For the quality and price this is a must. I got it 5 years ago and still use it today.

The first one I ordered had a problem with an internal connection which caused static. GC replaced it with another without any hassle and the new one is perfect.

I have had this mic for a few years now and have yet to get a bad recording out of it. It's versatile, it's reliable and it sounds as good as mics that cost 5 times as much. I would not hesitate to get another one.

Great vocal mic for studio / music applications. Performance is on par with several much more expensive mic's I've used.

Use: Professional Very sensitive mic and noiseless when recording using cardiod setup. Bright warm sound. I Recorded with my Digidesign Mbox and I could record it with good pressure without using extra pre-amps.

Bought this to pair with my NT1-A for mid side recordings, and loved the sound and build quality so much I bought another pair. I use this for vocals, drum overheads, guitar cabs, and most acoustic instrument recording I do.

I am most pleased with this microfone. It's versatile, sensitive in all the frequency it captures. Good bundle with the stand and the pop filter, which are essential for pro quality. Great for voice and instrument! Very good price for the hole thing!!!

I picked this up to do some ADR on our short film. Simple and great sounding. Is it a Neumann U87? No, but I don't have the $$ to drop on a mic, and the NT2-A is a great mic for the price.
