This mic is a very good buy for the low/mid priced mic...even better used at about $175....It is a full warm sounding mic with one flaw (hence my 4 star rating)...it can produce a little too much hi end, especially on female and hi timber voices..as it was suggested to me..point the mic away 20 to 25% back so it catches the upper chest area and it works great..if you are recording through a pre-amp or console, you can filter some hi end out before recording...this mic works great with everything! Acoustic guitars are sweet and warm...you can mic cabs with it and I'm about to try that this weekend. Seriously, sounds as good or better than other mics that are more expensive..great upgrade or second mic if you already own one..do not hesitate to buy this mic. ... More

I use this mic to record vocals in my home studio. I'm a beginner and this is my first microphone. I am used to recording on a Dynamic microphone so this mic is much clearer and more crisp in regard to picking up every sound and detail. I like the warm, round sound as opposed to other mic's which have a more bright sound.

I give 5 stars because the quality seems great so far and the mic seems sturdy. I have only had the chance to use it once or twice, but for testing it in a poor acoustical environment and not having a great pre-amp yet, I got very good sound.

Shipped super quick from Hawaii, and product was just as listed (for a great price)! Very friendly, and love the new mic! Thanks for the quick turnaround.

These are great mics, once modified mind you. Stock, they are passable, but fraught with problems. Peaks in the high-end, thin sound, etc... But with a little work by a mic mod expert, they become amazing.

This Mic it?s perfect when you run out of enough money to something bigger, even though its a "must have" mic in any recording studio. It has a nice transparency y brightness, it?s perfect for vocals applications and some ambiental circunstances. In some cases im sure that you can?t hear the difference between the rode and other "expensive" mic, it depends in what you are micking. It?s a good investment.
